You mean near Sg.Besi Toll? Don't scare me, if you notice the sign board, right before the toll is 60km/h. If put camera there, I guess 10 out of 10 car will on camera...

Bad news for some of us. Seems that the camera at Slim River on the North South Expressway is malfunctioning. Its now snapping those who are travelling even at 90kmph. Many people got snapped this morning.

Then the road users can sue them if they still send the summon because the speed limit is 110 and yet they dare to send the summon to the users with the speed stated like 100- 110

aes is quite canggih system, for sure there are sensors that will detect any problem happen to it.

Added on October 11, 2012, 10:51 ambtw, would it be an irony if accidents happen when people trying to slow down in a sudden (avoiding the flash) and got hit from car behind them?

Unless they ammend the summons to show a speed in excess of 120kmph.

Don't worry, according to our law, the car from behind is always at fault. So it is OK if you emergency brake when you see a camera... brows.gif

If not mistaken AES system is not really reliable. There are report of other countries that the system capture cars that are not over the speed limit.

Maybe the sensor detect 90km/h as 120km/h..
