was wondering how close do u need to be before slow down when see camera...i was about 200 metres away from the camera and slow down till 90 around 100 metres away from the camera but the fella still flash at me..the cars in the lane beside me wer sumwat travelling in a similiar speed as well

was wondering if there is a minimun detection distance?

location : Kajang ( Northbound to KL)

I am sure they put on the yellow sign (Operasi Had laju) before approaching the camera, I don't know about the Kajang one but the 2 camera up north has this 2 warning signs about 2-3KM before the camera. When you saw this sign, then you should start driving within the speed limit

wow means it can detect from up to 2km away? guess i got owned then :-(

No. Quite sure it can't detect up to 2km away as the camera can detect up to 1km away only.. So I'm making an assumption the warning sign is 2km - 3km away so you can start to slow down.

Bad news for some of us. Seems that the camera at Slim River on the North South Expressway is malfunctioning. Its now snapping those who are travelling even at 90kmph. Many people got snapped this morning.

Then the road users can sue them if they still send the summon because the speed limit is 110 and yet they dare to send the summon to the users with the speed stated like 100- 110
