210lbs I would like to think of as muscles
.......+30 due to a lack of sleep over the last 12 years. So I can say I am fat now.

FFBS - 'BLEEP'ing Faraway Bike Shop
rims I am thinking about a custom set from Hope in Sillypore should be cheaper then the Bikepro option.
More questions then answers
may take the MIC (Made in China) option into consideration.
5 figures was mis-represented by my left brain should read 4 figures. Plus whatever money I can get from liquidating my bikes.
The Scott CR1 frame is 2nd hand (2 years old) at half its original price in a FFBS. again the inherent risk. At that price it would boil down to MIC frames.

The CR1 prices are mighty attractive as is, why would one buy anything else ? Bikepro list prices is pre-discount right ?

uhhh... i would not recommend you to go for the MIC frames... production QC is terrible on most of the cheap ones... i saw one the other day with those aero foil shaped seat post... they made it with such bad tolerance that the post with the seatpost clamp tightened way past carbon torque limit will still sway a bit rocking it by hand because there is a bit of gap between the seat tube and post.. and the rider came back to the shop complaining that the seatpost drops down whenever he takes it out for rides and have to raise it after every ride...of course, the bike shop pointed their finger at the frame that they didn't sell...
Stepdragon , TW26 and the likes are still more acceptable...
this is one that is not bad in value... (and i mean value only)

the bikepro prices are definitely not discounted... and it depends on your relationship with unker tan...maybe bring miaopurr along and you get a hefty one
i doubt the CR1 handling will be fumbling clumsy... it might be a tad more agile.. but still tame-able...the CR1 should be supposedly the do-it-all bike...so.. it can't be that bad... but with Addict and Foil on the scene... somethings might be not as good as both of the alternatives from scott...
