HI, I experienced the car(b line) will choke(more likely acceleration) when...

situation 1:
when braking slowing down the car, mean while air cond kick in.
situation 2:
when braking(while waiting traffic light), and air cond kick in.

anyone experience this?

hmm.gif What does COSE have to do with this? I am not giving comments regarding COSE.

I'm commenting on the written invoice by Cose and SC...not your comment actually. SC just put 1+5K = 6K for next service disregarding the actual service schedule of 5K.

I meant the service manual indicate 5K, but Proton SC just follow 1K+5K. So which one is right by Proton standard?

Most car manufacturer also have 1K service but always follows the 5K service interval at 5K not 6K. Suspected it might be for recording convenient anyway.

There is actually nothing wrong with extending it to 6K since technically its a 5K service beginning from 1K. The reason I recommend earlier at the schedule 5K is as mentioned in my earlier post. If extend, not much harm done tho...but with some shards residue in lube from 1st change, its better to change earlier than later to reduce the possibility of damage, only possibility but for us, the lesser such occurance the better, so not a must. If you want to extend up to 7K, I don't think SC will question also....

Just realized that I didn't get the drain plug gasket for my Persona changed for my 60,000KM service. Any issue if I delay it to 65,000KM?

**I also haven't gotten the brake fluid and radiator coolant changed when I sent my car for servicing doh.gif. I guess I should have looked at the service parts list properly.

Dear forumer.

I stopped going to Proton service center after ,my 2008 persona Auto warranty expired to save cost. I didn't care much to read what is good or bad for my car regarding motor oil and ATF oil before.
Recently, I started to do more research(because no more warranty hehe ) and I have read somewhere that for ATF oil, Persona must use SP III and not Dextron 3 which my current non proton SC is using.
I have used it for 10k kilometer already since April 2012. I am wondering if the above info regarding dextron 3 is correct. If it is, I'm planning to use Mitsubishi DiaQueen SP III. How many liter would I need? One spare part shop near my house selling 4 liter DiaQueen SP III for RM105. Is 4 liter enough? I'm worried now and requesting for advice from persona expert.
For motor oil I have stopped using semi-synthetic to Full synthetic 5w40 Eonos.

If I'm not mistaken, 4.5 litres of ATF is required for the Persona hmm.gif. And yes, SP III is required, not Dextron III, but that's based on what I heard from my mechanic. biggrin.gif

No idea. I haven't bought that before. I use Proton's ATF fluid instead, which costed me RM15 per litre from a spare-parts shop. biggrin.gif
