jus wanted to ask whether is it normal to change brake pad twice in one n half yr duration?

for me no. i am not sure about B-line and M-line coz the braking different.
maybe need more power to stop the car. but changing that frequently means you are braking quite hard most of the time i suppose.
but i only change once. mine is h-line.
if you are using stock pad, why not try to use high performance pad?

i don't really brake hard cause i don't like to do that. usually i will brake slowly.
since 1 or 2 months i bought the car, there are several brake sounds until recently proton change my brake disc.
i have been visited proton once a month bcos of the brake. then after the first 9months they said brake pad finish.
so i change it. they said after change no sound. but after 2 to 3 weeks the sound come back.
then recently i went there again and they said brake pad finish again. i make a complain so they just said brake disc prob. change my brake disc.

what is high performance pad? i don't really know bout car.

i sent to CoSE at shah alam. but their service is very bad. keep complaining same problem but still can't solve til now.
warranty also going to end soon which i'm quite worry to pay a lot to repair for future. even they change my brake disc n pad they can give back me my car without checking the alignment. plus the brake now need to press more if not no brake.  n they still can called me up told me i have check EVERYTHING as i left my car there for 2 days cause they said wan to check PROPERLY to confirm everything is OK.   


i have tried few RON95 n i tink caltex works better. and i do agree that RON97 have better performance. but i tink my car have something like the ts prob. mayb i should try change to RON97 and c how it works.

I also told them why so fast. Then they said based on last record also ur car change so fast.
then after i complain only they said is brake disc prob. most of the time ppl change brake pad around 2yrs once even i ask the proton mechanic also he told me like tat but stil dunwan to check out wat is the prob.
i dont know how to see when need to change..noob bout car..


currently after i change the brake pad n brake disc seems no more sound but only half month..need to monitor more..

oo..but i rarely bring my car to wash..i tink mayb 3 to 4 months once and usually i purposely go wash..the distance is quite near from my house..it wil b a prob also?n i tink when i get my car de brake disc is already bengkok wan..
n the eeee sound y so many car have the prob but they cant fix it?they dont know wat is the prob?i noe its normal but its quite annoying..haha..

oo..now i know wat is the prob with the sound but i dont prefer long braking distance. so have to ignore it lo...
i dont know under warranty or not..cause i argue with them to the top management then they said they change the brake disc FOC for me n warranty me for 10k km..just accept n c how lo..btw my car warranty going to end soon..

another q, wat is brake lining??

then if mechanic said have to change the brake lining means only that thing or need to change the pad also?usually how much it cost?n the price range isit same with honda city?(jus asking for my sis car)

i also duno why..but my car always very hard to start..sometime need to hold quite long only can start..

last time after 3 or 4 months my car can't start dy. called proton n they sent technician come said duno wat setting wrong. some more charged me!

i'm noob bout car n i trust them ma..haha..

Lost the receipt..last time I change GP battery..but I can't find the receipt now..I called and they said can't and need the warranty card..now tow to proton check first..wanted to ask if service they didn't check my battery water and kering dy will the battery spoilt?yest open up all kering..tried to put water and jump start but still can't..

Last time my bf changed wan..he said wet can use longer..but didn't check for me..he tot service will check..yest only know dry up..now I also told him if he don't check then pls get the dry 1..jus tow my car to cose..only few technician..he said at least one week..and just now before tow I manage to start my car..but reached cose also can't start dy..

Now keep my car at cose..let them check..yest I tried to jump start but can't..then the tow car use stronger cable can..so I tried to charged..use my car for one hour and stop for half hr..when I stop the engine and try again can't start again..then this morning can..after tow to cose can't again..so confirm battery prob?
