First time I drove to outstation using my Persona.

Filled up the NGV tank from my house at Puchong. Drove all the way until Ipoh (233KM), still having some gas remaining. Then refilled at Tasek station, RM10.71. Awesome, full journey with gas and it's cheap!

Whacking 120-160KM/h all the way without a feel of pain in the wallet. This is my highest speed attempted to far, still plenty throttle space more available but I am driving my parents and grandmother; safety first.

wow~~hows the engine noise at 160kmh??
perfect man. the NGV. so nice. should invent the hybrid version of NGV + petrol.
hahaha~~when wacking the car both petrol and NGV give power, when driving normally onlu use NGV.
the idea not bad rite  biggrin.gif
mean on highway, NGV can travel up to more than 250km per tank??
gosh, thats a lot.

Added on July 30, 2012, 2:44 amanyone got experience on extreme fnf on highway lets say from JB to KL?

Engine noise at 160km/h can be heard but nothing annoying. Btw, I'm using Liqui-Moly with Ceratec.

My NGV system can do that, auto switch to petrol upon certain RPM range. But configuration is made to run NGV all the way.

With conservative driving, I think 250KM is possible

so it is recommended to use liquid molly for PE? 10-40?
as for gas? petronas 95 ok?
*
Proton don't recommend using Liqui-Moly. They claim it's for diesel engine.

They allow, I bring Liqui-Moly on 2nd service.

Yes, can be done easily with sequential injection system.

I am already looking around. Now eyeing on Speedworks BOT.

I wonder can I BOT without e-manage. And can the engine not stall with NGV+turbo. I'm happy to have 0.4-0.5 bar of boost.

If those people have so much to complain about RON95, I think NGV is instant overhaul for them. laugh.gif

I use permaglass sealant. Then once in a while, recoat with Magic 101 silk wax, which is totally non abrasive. The water repellent coating never went off so far.

I spotted engine oil leak this morning. Some drops of Liqui-Moly on the floor. It's just 8000KM mileage.

Liqui-Moly meant for diesel engine, thats why will leak out in petrol engine... blush.gif
I doubt it has anything to do with the lube tho, have to check where it leaked from.
*
I will let Proton CoSE check for the leak on my 10000 KM service. Maybe some oil seals.

QUOTE(abong8 @ Aug 3 2012, 11:52 AM)
Hmm.. Early sign of effect using NGV?
*
I don't think so. NGV typically puts risk on the exhaust valves only.

Check the leak is it at the Nut below area or at the dipstick area?
My Persona last time leak at dipstick area, Ask the mechanic to fix until now  no issue
*
Thanks, judging by the drip area, seems to be dipstick area.

SC is indeed suitable for daily driving. Smoother power delivery. Probably lifetime of engine and transmission is longer than turbocharging because of the surge in turbocharging.

The price of the supercharger kit is not cheap. RM9500. Turbo is cheaper to start
