QUOTE(ZenGTMM @ Aug 6 2012, 11:06 PM) Most aftermarket turbochargers sold in msia do not use staged turbocharging in their kits.. They only have direct single boost structure.. When u see german tuners come out with BOTs for their cars, they have staged blow off valves and boost pressure. ITs like employing low boost during lower RPM and increasing gradually to higher boost during higher RPM.. But with every good there is a bad.. The cost are definitely higher too.. Just like preve la. But in the end still sapu us Not really.. SC do have their lag too.. The lag is very apparent when u are in stop and go traffic jams. A SC car is very unbearable to drive during stop and go traffics. 99% IRR got.. but the price also 99 lah.. |

QUOTE(ziggy87 @ Aug 7 2012, 12:56 PM) i did my 2nd service at 7k+ instead of 6k. they didnt tell me my warranty void. so can try la Of coz they dun tell you warranty void, if they told you dy you still service at SC meh.but i service at COSE la..not sure about other SC But if something engine related breaks, and your face got problem, they flip flip flip your servis booklet and point to your late servis record "Ah tengok sini, lambat servis, warranty koyak."... Not saying that they will do that, but don't give them an excuse. BTW, second service is at 5k km. |

QUOTE(ziggy87 @ Aug 7 2012, 01:26 PM) The most metal shaving from within your engine from borewall, piston etc when their new and brush against each other before "comforming" or "blending" their shape to each other will go into your lube. Thats why 1st 1K change is crucial, to drain out these major shaving. The 2nd change at 5K is to remove those extra shaving and remaining residue as it will continue to have metal particles shaving before the engine become "veteran". Thus IT IS also important to drain out these contaminant as soon as possible at 5K change. Dragging it longer means when addictives wear down and lose suspension holding and lubration strength, where do you think these metal particles will scratch against?Added on August 7, 2012, 3:46 pm QUOTE(Fubar20 @ Aug 7 2012, 01:52 PM) Nope. Just don't go past 2k when doing ur first service. And trust the Cose guys on taking good care of your car long term with their fame tidak apa and proton like this wan attitude??Added on August 7, 2012, 3:53 pmHowever do note, lots of modern engine actually might already done these pre-change in factory, thus for eg, Honda City does not need to change lube at 1K service. Some car manufacturer using FS just goes from new car to 10K service as the engine has been "pre-run" with lube change BEFORE delivering to customer.
