how did you send in application for FD pledge to get CL?
i'm planning to do so when i'm eligible to be a principle card holder

its a combined limit.. means both cards total limit is 5k.

so I got an SMS on monday to say my application has been approved.

what now ? Will they send the cards directly to my house ? Or do I pick up from branch ?

refer back to your application form, did you choose self collection at a specific branch or mail to address.

Depends on which you tick during application.

If branch, the person in charge from branch will call you to pick up.

Just a curious question. Is the 15% cashback promotion a guaranteed cashback ? or first come first serve? I have already registered, so if i buy something at the participating malls i am sure to get the cashback or maybe by luck ? hehe

I'm currently having MBB 2 Cards Gold and would like to request for an upgrade to Platinum since I've met all the application criteria...may I know how can I request for an upgrade please?

Request using the enquries function at mbb website, they will send you the form, then you reply and attach 3 months payslip.

You need to wait few days for them to reply

there has been several similar post in this thread. in essence, fill up card upgrade form and submit together with supporting documents.

if a CC downgrade. will it be approve?
or need those extra document again

actually i have reach the limit but yesterday got emergency still can swipe 100 at petronas bukit beruntung.

not sure about the procedure but is there any reason for the downgrade?

Last month I also reach the limit but I still managed to use the CC over the limit about RM300++ based on my own calculation with the EPP amount. After 3 days, I tried to pay bills using CC at M2U but it was unsuccessful. I paid RM100 and I managed to pay the bills immediately.

Maybe they allowed additional 10% from the combined limit before they block your usage.

I don't think MBB will downgrade you. It's not a VIP card ie: HSBC Premier, where you need to have xxx amount in your bank account at all times and have xxx banked in every month.

Besides you don't lose any perks in downgrading apart from credit limit so dont think its worth the hassle.
