Last week i used my 2 cards on paypal to pay sgd. I can see the conversion rate directly for visa card 2.6, i could not see the conversion rate for amex until it is reflected on my statement. The paypal visa rate is damn high at 2.6 compare with amex 2.56.
Amex is better when it comes to paypal exchange rate at least for sgd

i tried paypal+amex on SGD, it went through. Long time did not try on RM, the last time i tried it did not go through

No problem while using mbb cards on paypal, just that as mentioned above, amex card cant pay in RM, usd and sgd are fine
