Guys, I was at TNB Shah Alam today and just wanted to like you guys know once again (was reported earlier by another guy here) that we can use AMEX to pay TNB bills.

if I upgrade my gold card to platinum card, my cc no. remains the same? or they will give me a new cc no.? can I hold both gold & platinum at the same time?

if topup touch n go at mymydin using AMEX on the weekends, can get 5% cashback+5X TP or not?

To me the only reason is the annual fee and difference benefit of certain cards. For e.g. a VI has RM800 AF (waived at 50K spending) versus M2Cards.

Got a letter from MBB telling me that we can now use amex for some higher learning institution and some assessment fee

Good & personalize customer service from them although i thought they were sending me a platinum card sweat.gif

I requested Platinum ,

RM1 FD to RM 1 CL, yes.

I'm a foreigner so this is why it is more difficult for me I guess - although I do hold another CC with HSBC they wouldn't accept my application based on that sad.gif

So basically all Maybankard have issues with PayPal due to their security measures? It's pretty frustrating when most of the payments won't go through and once in a blue moon it'll go through. sweat.gif

Huh? I've never had a problem with mine, Maybank Petronas VISA and M2Card... my Paypal account is verified though, don't know if that makes a difference.

No problem with either of my Maybank VISA or Maybank AMEX though. Suggest you to give Maybank a call if problem still persists.

Not really, I have no problem with mine.
I heard only recently registered PayPal users (using Maybankard) will have this issue. smile.gif
I registered mine some time back.
