But when I use my Maybankard 2 card (Visa) for the digi EPP package, I receive 5xTP as in the promotion link you provided.

That is true if we are looking for "Maybankard 2" Visa or MasterCard. Call CS to confirm to clear your doubts.

I thought Maybankard 2 card is in the Maybankard Visa Platinum/Gold. hmm.gif

If you see your visa card, it didn't write "Maybankard 2", isn't it?

That is true.

Anyway, once again thanks for sharing here in V5 (for the benefit of others that did not read V4) that you earn 5XTP with your MBB 2 Visa for your DiGi Ezy Pay. And like we talked about at V4, DiGi is not in the participating merchant list (M2U link above by nemesis86) for Ezy Pay with Visa or MC whereas it is mentioned for AMEX Ezy Pay rclxub.gif
*
Sharing is caring. thumbup.gif

Maybe Maybank miss out Digi. But I think as long as you see logo in the store that they accept Maybank Ezy Pay are entitle for the 5xTP promotion.

v5? nice....

now,if only a lot of places widely accepts AMEX as well as offering EPP with them, wouldn't that be much awesome (& overkill)? tongue.gif
*
If AMEX is widely accepted, I don't think Maybank will give 5% cashback on everything during weekend. Maybe they will have the same cash back as OCBC Titanium.

Added on July 20, 2012, 9:27 pmDid anyone used AMEX to buy apps in your android phone? If buy apps from play store on sat night, can get 5% rebate or not ah? Anyone tried? brows.gif

Oh my bad, I asked the wrong question. What I actually want to know is, what is the step to enrol to the ezypay plan:
(1) inform the shop + inform maybank + swipe
(2) swipe + inform maybank only
*
you can just tell the merchant that you want the Ezy Pay package that they offer. they will just swipe at their terminal and it will automatically charge to your card with the Ezy Pay.
I think their terminal had the setting to set your swipe as Ezy Pay or 1 time payment.

Bro, you MBB staff? You seem to be very knowledgeable about MBB and seldom post elsewhere.

And I must add, your comments are valuable to this thread.

I also using M2U to pay the credit card. The Outstanding balance Rm0.00 once my transaction is stated successful.

I had requested for the hardcopy statement without charge from M2U last Thursday for the month April-Aug. Waiting for it to come. biggrin.gif

Edited. Just pay my CC and only outstanding balance become RM0.00. tongue.gif

Does the current EzyPay with 5X TreatsPoints (using Maybankard 2 Visa/MasterCard) gets creditted instantly upon posting of the transaction ?
*
Yeah. It credited to your statement instantly upon transaction.

The TP will also devided equally based on your ezypay months.

For my EzyPay, they credited the total TP on the next day of my transaction.

Then everymonth I pay the installment that credit to my VISA didn't have TP point. sweat.gif

Did anyone ever swipe your credit card over the limit?

I just back from shopping and count total usage of my Maybankard 2 cards at M2U.

Lets say my combined limit given is RM2000 (not the real amount). I had EPP of RM1000 and had pay the installment of RM100 for 2 months. So I still had RM1200 to use. Until yesterday I had swipe a total of RM1000. Then today I swipe again with total RM300.

If count total money I swipe + EPP, I had use up credit of RM2100. How can that be? Haha... Maybe the transaction haven't been post so I still can use more than my credit limit.

I still need to pump fuel tomorrow, so I pay RM300 first just now. Don't want to take any risk.

Anyone would like to try and let me know what is the consequences? brows.gif

IIRC, I read sumwhere in the T&C that they will charge additional interest on over limit spending. Better check back with the CS.

Is it? I spend over RM90++ from the limit. Waiting for my statement if there is any charges or not. sweat.gif

I think I'm wrong. Maybe the additional interest charge is from other banks T&C (Citibank perhaps).

For Maybank, you need to immediately settle the excess amount after you get the next statement. No additional charges.
*
I would like to try what is the response from maybank actually if i spend over limit. But I can't because I don't want to take the risk. So I pay some amount just now using M2U online 1st because I still need it to refuel my car tomorrow to get 5% cash back. Hehe

Hi all. I just calculated my Maybankard usage from maybank2u.

After I add up my total outstanding balance + (EPP total from Digi - Installment I had paid) for both Amex and VISA, I had exceeded RM250++ from the combined limit that was approved since last Sunday.

So, just now I tried insert my Amex to the shell petrol pump and it was approved. (I just want to try and I pick up the nozel and place it back brows.gif)

My question is that the combined limit (let's say RM4000) applied for VISA+Amex or they give VISA RM4000 and Amex RM4000.

I'm quite confused now. I just want to make sure so I just swipe exceed the combined limit. Will I get into any trouble? I had always settle full statement balance amount before the 20 days grace period.

Combined limit means Visa + Amex = RM4000. Not RM4000 each card.
*
I know but it's quite weird when I had swiped over the limit together with the EPP.

QUOTE(cute_boboi @ Nov 9 2012, 06:53 PM)
Some EPP / installment plans, do not block off entire CL amount.
e.g. Buy RM2400 for 12-months, every month the bank will only charge RM200 into your bill, not block off entire 2.4k
*
Hmm... Ic... So the Maybankard didn't block off the CL amount for the EPP. Got any website that mention the condition?

I just want to clarify this. Thanks.

From this website, it did mention the total amount will be blocked.

"Upon approval of the application, the full instalment plan amount will be blocked at the point of application of EzyPay. The Bank will debit Cardmember’s Card Account with the instalment payable on a monthly basis, for duration as stipulated as above. Cardmember’s available credit limit will be provisionally reduced by earmarking an amount, equivalent to the Purchase Amount which will not be available to Cardmember, but will be progressively restored on a monthly basis as repayment of each instalment amount is made."

I noted from Amex Thread that Airasia accepts Amex. Can the Maybank Amex card use in Airasia web?

I had tried to use, but the Airasia web pop out message that I need to have 4 digit cvv, whereas Maybank Amex has only 3 digit cvv on the back of the card, anyone familiar with this?

Thank in advance.
*
I thought the AMEX cvv is 4 digit. Those 4 digit above the AMEX logo.
