i have a question.
i'm 18 and i wish to apply for this card.
went to maybankard centre in 1U today and they told me that the only way i can get this card is by pledging FD.
i'm fine with this as i do have FD account with Maybank.
question is since the age restriction is 21 for Principle Card, how to they bypass my application?

they advised me to go KLCC branch as theres a credit card centre and maybank branch there.
i'm still curious how theyre going to bypass my application.
anyone got such privilege?

bare in mind that its principle card, nothing to do with "father pays"

just got my 2 Platinum cards yesterday.
i'm a supplementary cardmember
was wondering about the monthly statement.
at the moment its a combined statement, but i requested for a separate one.
when i logged in M2U, it says if i want to view the statements i have to cancel receiving hard copies.
why is this so?

4th day since i got my card, so far all the merchants i went accepts AMEX.

does anyone knows if its possible for Supp card holder to receive SMS Alerts for a separate statement account?

they already made a separate monthly statement for my supp card.
on the other hand, i've updated my number for supp card SMS Alert but its still sending to Principle card

i'm going overseas tomorrow, and i was wondering if i need to call Maybank to notify them.
is it necessary to inform them in order to charge my card overseas?

i'm aware of the higher exchange rate.
but i saw another thread stating that theres Admin fees, and AMEX is again higher than Master/Visa

i tried purchasing from Steam on Mac.
used my AMEX and Paypal that is connected to my AMEX.
both method didnt go through.
but when i purchased air ticket from Air Asia the other day, it was successful.
AMEX is also verified on Paypal.
anyone know what is the reason behind this?

i used AMEX and mastercard on it, also cant work.
not to mention that this morning i tried using my visa debit as well, so i believe its the merchant's problem

could it be because im currently at overseas and dont have a Malaysia IP address?

i checked my m2u this morning and realised that both of my cards have the status 'account is not authorized'
what does this means?
im currently at overseas does it mean that my card cant be used?

will check again later, but the past 2 days i did try to make transaction on this 1 merchant that kept on decline the transaction.
could that be the cause?
