Can someone do a quick check if their IPV6 connectivity says "No Internet access" or not on their internet status bar?
I'm not sure if what I am seeing is normal. |

I bought TP-Link TL1043 wireless router since Jan 2012, works like a charm.
But since yesterday, the wifi cannot function.. I use back the dir615 and it works. so confirm the TL1043 wifi kaput dy. Will send to TPLink in lowyat plaza for 1to1 replacement. What is the best wireless router in market now for Unifi ? |

Why do you need to replace the TM-supplied, working-fine DIR-615 with another wireless router? But since yesterday, the wifi cannot function.. Since its cheaper to go for Maxis 10mbps, thinking of switching to Maxis. But dunno the speed and service good or not? This post has been edited by chinkw1: Dec 12 2012, 11:59 AM |

How odd. I personally have recommended a few of my friends to use the TL1043 and guess what..all of them suffered Wi-Fi issues after a few months of usage. So I guess, this isn't exactly a reliable unit. We've all moved on to other brands..personally I've switched to Mikrotik with no complaints.
Another "issue" which we all kinda agree upon. If u play Diablo 3, avoid the TL1043. All of us got intermittent lag spikes (which we DON'T get in other Unifi routers). Which microtik wireless router u recommend? the product seem very enterprise grade, cheapest router already cost RM319. Very reliable and stable?Another "issue" which we all kinda agree upon. just wondering:
http://unifi.athena.my/custom_routers.php will this custom router setup work with the current router TM provide? (the gray one with no brand) since the guide specifically mention DLINK (the old orange one) |

I bored of TMNET's lame promotion. They seems to think customers are idiots. Giving the same promotion, The 1 Month Free promotion have been active for so many months (probably more than 3 months already), and now they are trying to sell the same promotion as if its new.
So far UNIFI may be a stable Fibre connection service provider (They still have issue but better as compared to Maxis Fiber) but they do have high pricing due to their arrogance, having control over land lines in Malaysia and having support by the government. So please think twice before installing UNIFI. This post has been edited by denzel88: Dec 13 2012, 10:17 AM |
