After having this phone since its launched in KL, the only thing I hated is:

1) The screen is not really scratch resistance. Stupid keys haha
2) I wish the back was not plastic, but made of aluminium, like the Iphone5 hahaa

But design wise, this phone is at the top there.

LOL

1) screen is scratch resistant but the free screen shatter proof sheet is not
2) you should buy XPP instead...

are you sure want like IP5? you want sony to make a new phone longer and longer and longer for a new model? brows.gif

I saw yellow spots on the lower right corner when in plain white page, but when it in colour, no effect.

Is this yellow tint? My phone is newer version so I am not sure about this.

hi fellow xpsers. is the 2.45 ICS worth it after so long? i'm still on GB. but i read some positive reviews on the latest updates. what do you guys think?

oh is the slide to silent back in this update?

add: ok after reading even more. still not wise to update. still no slide to silent. that's the main turn off among other things. doh.gif shakehead.gif

has anyone ever experienced touch sensor problem? it's like the screen is being touched by itself (in attachment pic, after i turn on the 'show touches' setting, notice the 2 dots on the right side of the screen?)

problem started few days ago. it happens everytime the phone wakes up from sleep. to stop the 'self-touching', i've to turn off the screen for a while & then turn it back on.

phone was updated to the latest ics last week, stock rom, locked bootloader.

As you can see above, there are some apps that change to grey icons, and when i press them, it will show 'the application not found'. The apps can be used again after i restart.

But Everytime i restart my phone, there must be 1, 2, or 3 apps that change to the grey icon as shown above.

What problem is that? icon_question.gif

This is an old issue. I moved some apps to internal memory from phone memory and I got this problem. My solution was move the affected apps to where it was originally installed on and it solved this problem.

Yesterday, one of my relative got this XPS set which he won via Lucky Draw from his Company Raya Dinner, he did passed this set to me, ask me whether I should take this set as he is already using Iphone 4S.. I did read this thread from page 1 to 54.. I did check on the Yellow Tint Issue, as it does not show that and also checked that from Service Info, it shows Touch Firmware Version is 6 and also from back of the set, it show AC. So I believe this set is comes from 3rd Batch.. also it comes ICS out of box.. But only thing that I feel uneasy is this Set is AP (from Comsat)..

I am using this since this morning, so far no issue I encountered..

Guys, I might just found the solution for the yellow spots.

Rub the yellow area, rub hard a couple of times till it gone, use cloth, rub using your thumb.

try it. Works for me wink.gif, dunno whether its stays gone or not..

I am impressed with this XPS on the following details : -

In Call Quality - Good
Sound Quality - Good
Performance Wise - Good also ( No laggy or reboot)
Hardware - Good
Camera - What to say , I have no words to say.. Really awesome
took few shots during the days and night.. even low light, the pictures are at par of
average Digital Camera..

I think I will take from my relative and use this as my daily phone..

pls add me in User List..

There are 2 ways to root it.
1.) unlock bootloader. This is the official way to root the phone, but you will void the warranty.
2.) lock bootloader. This is an exploit to root the phone without unlock bootloader. You won't void the phone warranty.

You can go to XDA for more information.
