hey, for those running x2 3800+ @ 2500Mhz, what is your CPU temperature at maximum load at 10 mins ? Can you share you temperature reading with your case closed & open ?

@gsan looks like u got a good toledo steppings, my opty 170 reach 2.6ghz already need 1.55vcore, gotto tame it with water...

go for WC gsan, i think with tht steppings, u can oc to 3ghz easily using water cooling... i gonna add radiator and bow my apogee gt soon in order to get better temps for my poor steppings opty 170. hope it yields better temp as i think mine almost reach its maximum since i need 1.55v to get 2.6ghz, plan to oc to 2.7ghz but scare high vcore will kill the proc...

Just got my 3800+ x2 and silverstone nt06... Here are the specs: AMD 3800+ X2 (Toledo) (LCBQE 0648SPMW) 2 x 512MB Kingston KVR Gigabyte GA-K8FN-9 Silverstone Nitrogon NT06 AcBel Intelligent Power Gold 500w PSU Here's the max i can get... cant get any futher... crappy mobo and ram... i set 1.450v in bios, but speedfan and cpu-z detects 1.5v..
