EO can last very long. Service interval of 3000km is sometimes too conservative. Need to remember, motorbike, oil, gas, metal etc is one big industry to make sure we spend money. We spend too much on oil for such a small bike.

1 liter EO, RM20~40. Car EO, 4 liter, RM60~90. Change interval, same.
1 tire, RM120. Car tire, same price each... what's wrong here?

Everything on bike also much more expensive compared to service a car, relatively to engine cc and size...

I just think we all should be wise consumer even when we use bike, and thinking that we save on petrol alone.

ya, totally agree with u. actually i'm not so agree with those who change their EO in 1000km or 1500km unless the oil is not good. If the EO is good enough, we dont have to change that frequent. Besides, frequent changing EO will harm the natural environment(i read from somewhere).

Ya, the oil and tyre for our bikes is almost equal/more expensive compare to car especially the tyre. The car tyre Goodyear 185/xx/14 for my iswara goes for rm155 only, i guess my rear tyre Maxxis 110/70/17 is not cheap tho.

ya, i'll go for silkolene also because it is still in the range API SF/SG icon_rolleyes.gif gona go to look for it! I'll check at the spare part shops 1st, if i cant get it then i'll go to the Kawasaki at Taman Pertama(Cheras).

Use long not issue, just need check EO after about 4k bcos the EO might dissappear...then need top up....

Base on experience if use Fully syn 10/50 or 5/40 on piston ring longgar the EO still can last till 4k...4k is about the oil to break down

Vibration might come from bad chain condition or dry chain....

RP is API-SL to API-SN certified.

LC use flat tappet... again, please stick to API-SG.
EO with API rating greater than SG will burn through your flat tappets and cam lobes.

On 4T bikes, the problems is most likely to come from engine head when the wrong EO is used.
Shifting gear is just a mild to near useless way to judge an EO quality.

but the price difference is really huge between 12 and 24 bottles like u said. hmm.gif

dear all bros, i need your opinions on eo/bike:
1) let's say after i changed my eo, and i found that the gear shifting is not good after i've run around 100km(or may b less than that). Is it too early to judge the eo not fits my bike?
2) or is it i have to run few hundred km 1st so that my engine is used to the eo only then i make a judgement?
3) or is it i will know whether the eo fits my bike or not after may be 50-100km(or may b less than that)?
