@ken: Do not change EO if you cannot find the one you want. castrol activ from website show 20W-50, not recommended for FZ, unless you plan to ride long distance where engine will be very hot. Diasil block suppose no need run in, and pls read front page about hard break in. If previous owner ady ride past 2000km, already consider run in, don't imagine too much about engine still 'tight'. Change EO yourself is fine, but make sure you dispose the used oil at the shop, not longkang. EO below rm20 I consider bad for gear change even when new, based on my limited experience, but enough to convince me use better one. I spend RM30-50 on my RGV EO. Clutch slip is when you release clutch, pull throttle but less acceleration. Not likely to happen caused by EO on small bikes, normally only if clutch due for change.

could be eo too thick , so gear changing not smooth lol
anyway this problem all lc and tupai z also got la.. for clutch version , last time i use normal yamahalub after 600km sure will got these problem

from my exprience, Recomended EO gred is JASO-MA / API-SF or SG with gred 15-50 10-40 10-50

Added on December 18, 2012, 11:19 amclutch will slip if use too tick eo, gear shifing not smooth cause by your clutch.i have the same issue last time when i ride LC, when use tick EO, hard to shift gear 1 to 2..but when i change to gred 10-40, i can feel very ringan but after few 800km, i feel my bike start heavy when run on highway. after try 15-50 with normal ride 110km/h, i manage to go til 1.2km without feel any weird feeling. 1500km i change eo.

ic. But isn't those 15W40, 15W50 and 10W40 hav higher API like API SL? So far i know those 20W50 EO with API SF/SG, others usually are SL/SH. But, Silkolene Super 4 and Valvoline® 4-Stroke Motorcycle Oil have 10W-40 and they are API SF/SG but it's quite difficult to find these 2.

Motul Transoil Expert 10W-40, now testing with Slick 50 Gear Lube 80W-90 API GL-5.
Change 3000km.

Yeah, but some say Slick 50 got PTFE, not good for bike wet clutch.
This model that I got, no PTFE... contradicting. Will see how.

you really go in deep and research alot on EO, i believe u did the same to any other things/matter too      my respect to u
