just came back from japan yesterday morning. It was a very unique experience for me. Thanks dark_paladin for accompanying me in akiba and asakusa.

really does not want to come back to Malaysia after the trip lol, cause still got a lot of areas haven't visited.

anyone who's a girl can recommend anything which i can get for my girl friend when i visit japan this coming december ? : )

*she wouldn't want anything which cannot be used in her daily life lol.(e.g.: kimono, wooden slippers, the japanese fan....etc..... all is a NONO)

Cosmetics are really affordable there, look for brands like sekkisei, shiseido and those type.

And, if she likes snacks (which girl dont like?), those japanese snacks (senbei etc) can get for a big bag at those whole sale, but same quality. and there is also different pocky and kit kat flavors we cannot get here in M'sia.

Also, go find a shrine/temple, and get her omamori, is like the safety charm/talisman, got many kinds, for relationship, for friendship, for studies, for good luck etc.

And, can get those small deco stuff, even tho not daily usage, but deco in house is also consider usage.

I'm also a girl who don't like those unusable stuff like kimono, slippers n stuff, so i hope I helped you with my comments. Last trip to Japan we also bought lots of manga back, and lovely deco stuff from Japanese specialty store, and the above things I mentioned.. ^^

Or u travel to places, get those places' magnet for her, like osaka castle got their own magnets, tokyo tower too.. or get her a gashapon, those cute type key chain, quality is high there, cannot compare to our gashapon here.

If she always DIY dye her hair at home, you can get those from Matsumoto Kiyoshi (it's like our Guardian) and it's almost all over the city but of course not as many outlets as 7-11.

They lots of drugstore makeup there which goes on for cheap. I guess there's nothing much you can buy for her since you want it to be a daily used item.

Can't wait for my Osaka trip next month. Hopefully the weather is forgiving! I wanna wear jacket... hehe

Anyone visited to Shin-Osaka, Osaka, Kobe, Kyoto and Tokyo? Can you tell me any nice place to visit like shopping or foods and shrine to pray for luck, love all that?

Kobe is popular with the beef, is that true? is it really so nice to eat?

a lot ppl wanna to visit to Kyoto, actually what are the reasons make them wanna visit there?

Regarding Osaka, you have to go to Dotonbori. That's whre all the foods are. There you will find those Takoyaki balls almost everywhere and also the batter cake otominayaki (not sure its correct spelling or not). Honestly, I and my friend are disappointed with the taste. But dotonbori is the place you will find thefamous neon light. The glico man.

Kyoto is where all those historic places or should I say the older side of Japan. Kyoto is synonym to temples. You go there for temples. One of the famous temples is the golden pavilion. the whole temple is gold.

Tokyo you must I SAY MUST try the sushi in Tsukiji Market. That's where you will find one of the freshest sushi in the world. Seriously. But do take note, it's pricey there. Easily 3000yen for 7-8sushi.

Kobe I can't help. I dint go there. lol

Definitely can meet up on 28th since you'll be arriving 27th (if u want to have dinner also can, will just let u know which station to meet and which exit) since I'm already leaving on the 29th.

take note the visa application form has new format now.
If you are filling a form that has 'for office use' box on the 1st page middle and its a 2page form, you are filling the correct one.
If you are filling a 1paged form, that is an old form and wont be accepted anymore.

Mine rejected so i filled up the new form on the spot (i edited my old form from feb)
However some runner ended up kena take back the new form for their client to re-fill.
Other than that i prep 1 itinerary form, 1 passport pic, bank stat, letter from office, a copy of flight confirmation tix(not required, but ok to submit)
