I check the route, I able to reach Hiroshima from Osaka by JRP. hmm i wan to ask is this there any Green Cars in this route? I checked with the web site, the route is Hikari railway and they stated this railway do not have Green Cars, is that true? I'm planned to purchase the Green Cars and have a try of the services, unfortunately it seems not allow me to do so.

Can someone confirm this info to me?

Regarding Osaka, you have to go to Dotonbori. That's whre all the foods are. There you will find those Takoyaki balls almost everywhere and also the batter cake otominayaki (not sure its correct spelling or not). Honestly, I and my friend are disappointed with the taste. But dotonbori is the place you will find thefamous neon light. The glico man.

Kyoto is where all those historic places or should I say the older side of Japan. Kyoto is synonym to temples. You go there for temples. One of the famous temples is the golden pavilion. the whole temple is gold.

Tokyo you must I SAY MUST try the sushi in Tsukiji Market. That's where you will find one of the freshest sushi in the world. Seriously. But do take note, it's pricey there. Easily 3000yen for 7-8sushi.

Kobe I can't help. I dint go there. lol

Thank you so much for your information, the golden temple is it near the mountain there which kinda far from Nijo-jo?
Kyoto is it full of blossom tree? I planned to visit during Autumn (after winter), wher can I see the blossom trees surrounding me?

take note the visa application form has new format now.
If you are filling a form that has 'for office use' box on the 1st page middle and its a 2page form, you are filling the correct one.
If you are filling a 1paged form, that is an old form and wont be accepted anymore.

Mine rejected so i filled up the new form on the spot (i edited my old form from feb)
However some runner ended up kena take back the new form for their client to re-fill.
Other than that i prep 1 itinerary form, 1 passport pic, bank stat, letter from office, a copy of flight confirmation tix(not required, but ok to submit) wink.gif

So do you prefer us go to the embassy get the form to fill up instead of download from official web site since the form is not updated.
the documents requirement is it still the same which are

itineary form x 1
passport pic x 1
Bank statement x 1
employment letter x 1

what else?

Actually I wanna ask you guys those who going to Japan later, if your flight ETA at night time, what will you going to do for the accommodation? Are you make some calls to the hotels before you visit to Japan? most of the hotel check in time is 2 / 3pm, and we are few hours late from the check in time, will they charge us for extra fees or ?? I really worry about this.

Nobody charge for late check-in but late check-out yes haha. If worry, just drop an email or skype call them to inform them of late check-in.

huh? they provide e-mail and skype to contact them? need to pay the skype fees, right?
If it is really no charges for late check in, then i think should be fine. smile.gif

Guys,

I'm planning my honeymoon next year April (hehe). Planning to start at Osaka and work my way East and finish in Tokyo. Trip should be about 7-8 days.

Generally speaking, it would make more sense for me to fly directly into Osaka, and fly back from Tokyo, right? Seeing as shinkansen tickets itself already rm500 if I were to do a return-trip ticket to either location.

I prefer you juz get the 7days JRP (RM 1000++ for ordinary class and RM 1400++ for Green Class) since you wanna travel Osaka, East of Japan and finish in Tokyo. when u got JRP, all JR transportation services are FREE. (correct if i'm wrong). It is really worth to get JRP, i planned to get 1 when I go to Japan. smile.gif
