QUOTE(Soukarin @ Aug 8 2012, 01:22 AM) This is the latest Raya ads from LG Msia. dude its not exactly 7k.. i was told around that region but i know for a fact 47LM7600 is at 6050. This was the one i ranted about that TBM started at RM7999, i got a 47LM6700 at RM4750 with 6 glasses (it comes with it) here at MY.http://www.lg.com/my/redeem/raya.pdf RM7,000 for 55", Model LM7600?? I have read through this whole thread, I'm not lazy, just want to get clarified. Added on August 8, 2012, 1:33 am I'm not questioning you, I just want to make things clear. I was comparing between 55LM6200(RM7200) and 55LM6700(8900). Then u came with higher specs compared to these 2 models but with way lower price....so I just want to know and clarify further. Your point just doesn't make sense to me..... No offence. Go to ure shop. and Ask again. Better yet from a owner of a shop that u know. Y u think all hardware shop has so many ppl working for them.. running 24/7 aircond.. few shop lots.. heck few stories. U think they are making Rm100-200 for every product they sell?? Their margin is way higher. Lazy as in seriously go around shops. Alot of them dont stock and will dont mind earning abit since its just order and deliver. Ask the shop owners if u can. Take note the prob with LG is. The shop's etc are all dumbass. The LM in panel quality is about Samsung 5series or Sony EX72 level. They dont compete with both the 7,8 and hx series. LG price point is more on design and the Smart TV and other benefits like dual screen gameplay and non powered 3d lenses. Malaysian shop's and LG to a point priced it to compete thinking ppl here are stupid. Added on August 8, 2012, 10:01 amOk here is me helping. Called and checked. Cost price is RM7400. This morning noticed there was an OTA firmware update to version 4+. Anyone else got that?
@Elanges, how'd you get Netflix to work? You use VPN? I thought Netflix/Hulu blocked most VPN access? |

QUOTE(Poadster @ Aug 8 2012, 12:28 AM) 3D TV uses the same "two images" concept, delivers them left/right (aka Side by Side) or up/down (aka Over Under), to each eye... and the brain does the rest.... 3D images are produces.... I think you mean "3D Channel" and not "3D TV". All 3D TV in the last two years accept SBS, OU and FS formats and output as 3D.QUOTE 3D DLP projectors uses the Checkerboard format, while LED TV uses SBS, OU and pack sequential frames... With regards to LED TVs, see above. Checkerboard format is a method of delivering 3D content, just like SBS, OU and FS. It is not a popular method now due to the extra bandwidth we have. But 3D DLP projectors don't use the checkerboard method to project the images. Just like active 3D TVs, 3D DLP projectors project them frame sequentially. QUOTE sequential frame is the only true Full HD format (used in bluray players and bluray discs) while the other formats are usually half the screen's true resolution (as the screen is split with two images).... Correct. SBS is the preferred method over OU.fuad |

Good news is features added Trumotion, where u can adjust to smooth, off etc. can also adjust judder @ Trumotion. I off it instantly. Was not sure if they added anything else..but my LG apps seems reposition . Guess it just added Yahoo Msia. Nonetheless, u guys shd update firmware as I read in overseas forum the Trumotion adjustment really helps dejudder some fast moving scenes. @Elanges, how'd you get Netflix to work? You use VPN? I think L3nnon got the best deals at One Eight Electric Sdn Bhd <-- TAIPAN ELECTRONIC SHOP. No. 43 & 45, Jalan Usj 10/1A Taman Seafield Jaya, 47610, Subang Jaya, Selangor
42" RM3390 47" RM4600 I got mine from Desa Home @ Lowyat 42" RM3700 47" RM4900 I kinda rushed a bit. It's possible they can give better discounts. On mudah.my an LG 'distributor' is selling 42" RM3650 cash and carry. That's partly why I didn't hesitate with the purchase at Lowyat. *prices are for LM6700 series. I didn't ask for LM6200 series. IINM, the difference is merely cosmetic. This post has been edited by Morpheus2be: Aug 9 2012, 01:12 PM |

QUOTE(a_wei1319 @ Aug 9 2012, 01:38 PM) icic..thx Morpheus2be. Input on some thoughts on what i went with.yup.im considering whether wana buy new model or old model. either 47LM6700( best RM4600) or 47LW5700 (Best RM3500).. need ur advice,al sifu.. thx well i went for LM6700 instead of higher. Lm7600 is higher refresh rate LM8600 has dual core so technically faster browsing etc handling apps. ( but for the extra price think buying a media player is far better lol) LM9600 has some tech nano tech on the led.. something in the lines how oled works .. ( dont really know much about this) LW5700 just missing the design on the borderless and inbuilt wifi compared to LM6700. So thinking back on how oled is coming out and etc. LW5700 spec is current industry standards or so to speak for a 3dtv. Wifi for streaming will always sux compared to a dedicated ethernet connection. So its more of a design issue. Do u think RM1100 extra is worth it?? Is paying 31.4% more for borderless design worth it?? Again depends on how u position ureself on how long u want this tv to last. Theres no second value on tv or real value on design. For tech pic etc... Think till oled comes out whatever tech now will be obselete so no point paying for it. The wifi on the LM6700 ihas its own capability to connect directly to ure device. Not sure the value on this unless LG has a mirror streaming tech like appletv and ios devices. for me personally LM6700 for me was perfect for my room cause of the design. The tv is hooked up to a wallpaper designed cabinet like greyish color so it blend well. so hope this helps in ure buying process. Happy buyin. |
