What was the price at Desa Home? Retail LG RRP RM4499 iinm. 42" model.

Added on August 1, 2012, 1:39 pmOkay, went to Desa Home, Lowyat branch over lunch break. 42LM6700 no stock even at their Kepong branch. Apparently a customer before me bought/reserved 3 units (who on earth buys 3? I suspect a reseller. Must've gotten a good deal too).

Anyway, mine arrives next Monday, probably reorder shipment.

RM3390 is a good deal. I paid ~RM400 more at Lowyat. Enjoy this excellent purchase.

This morning noticed there was an OTA firmware update to version 4+. Anyone else got that?

@Elanges, how'd you get Netflix to work? You use VPN? I thought Netflix/Hulu blocked most VPN access?

I think L3nnon got the best deals at One Eight Electric Sdn Bhd <-- TAIPAN ELECTRONIC SHOP. No. 43 & 45, Jalan Usj 10/1A Taman Seafield Jaya, 47610, Subang Jaya, Selangor

42" RM3390
47" RM4600

I got mine from Desa Home @ Lowyat

42" RM3700
47" RM4900

I kinda rushed a bit. It's possible they can give better discounts.

On mudah.my an LG 'distributor' is selling 42" RM3650 cash and carry. That's partly why I didn't hesitate with the purchase at Lowyat.

*prices are for LM6700 series. I didn't ask for LM6200 series. IINM, the difference is merely cosmetic.

Noticed on the official LG Malaysia website, RRP for 42LM6700 went down from RM4400 to RM3699. That was fast ...

Been using a 2012 42LM6700 since Oct 2012 but yesterday after heavy thunderstorm, the TV malfunctioned. The power indicator light keeps blinking when turned on and no video/audio.

Any ideas (short of sending to service center)?

My LM6700 TV is back from the dead smile.gif

LG technician came and replaced a circuit board and it's all good now.

Warranty honored. Well done.
