maybe is because of the free server they limit your speed so that you use their paid service
*
that is sure they will limit my speed, but why they only limit on my fiber, but not on my 3g broadband? both i also use free account to download...

Noted.
TS, can you add this info to the 1st page FAQ?
plus launchpad registration steps;
plus frequent thompson router problems (ie; overheating/solution; boot-up taking 10mins, latest firmware version) and basic configuration (ie; port forwarding).
plus difference between landed and condo installation (ie; fiber vs vdsl)
plus how to attract amoi with 10mbps.
*
port forwarding info is on 1st page. please give me more info for the rest and I'll update the 1st page.

I just tried and deleted all my previous missed call or drop call but still not solve. The line is like very busy, keep engaging... I still don't know how come I can on Internet, if the line is busy. Maybe did I messed up the cordless phone settings?

good luck... your installation type is landed or highrise?

if highrise, will be more faster than landed, because they no need install a new cable from outside telephone pole.

if finished instal,, don't forget to do following :

1. speed test
2. ping test
3. direct download
4. p2p download
5. ftp transfer

share your result after testing, thanks! laugh.gif

Good check list. Should perform all tests before signing the job sheet.
I add 2 more tests to the list.

1. speed test
2. ping test
3. direct download
4. p2p download
5. ftp transfer
6. Test the dect phone + voice call to mobile and fixed line.
7. Test the home plugs (if you have one)

Same here. After heavy download the speed will slow down. Disconnect and connect back speed return to normal.
