Rather than ask, I think it may be better if you get a friend to take a ride with you and he/she can be tasked with listening to where it comes from.

Had my wife to look around and the wind noise seems to come from the sun visor area and it's quite pronounce though especially running at 115k/h and above..

One good way to test is to get some tape and temporarily apply it to the suspected area. If that stops the wind noise, you have found the spot. On next service, point that out to the service personnel & demand that it be rectified.

Guys I just took a video of My Preve cranking sound. Please tune your volume higher as the video sound is quite soft...Please notice the RPM meter and the Engine cranking sound too. Would this be considerate as OVW problem?

*
Try to wait until the engine started only release your brake. i got this sound also sometimes when i release my brake before the engine fully started.

There are several ways of nstarting the car

1. Key Into slot>Push Brake>Push Start
2. Key Into slot>Push Start button once>Push Brake>Push Start
3. Key Into slot>Push Start button once>Push start button 2nd time & wait a lil bit>Push Brake>Push Start

Now I prefer the 3rd way since it let the electronic parts of the car to be ready before the engine starts off.

For no. 2 & 3, you'll see an Amber coloured light will lit, after push brake  then green will lit
*
I dunno you guys...but i tried another way...until now...touch wood still no over cranking problem. i think my batch CN:1070 have OWV problem but until now i only have three time over cranking problem. "Is like not enough power to start the car" but usually once push it will start but takes longer time to start...usually after 1.5 second it will start but it start after around 2 or 3 secs of cranking sound.

now i try another new way of starting the car.

Insert key fob. -> press push start....there will be ember light. wait till the electronic component got light including HU word proton come out wait till got radio. then press again push start button...

This time you will see all the lights icon indicator turn on. ...the light still ember orange light at the push start. wait a few second like 3 or 4 secs. then press brake. then you will see green light on the push start. then you press the push start button. it starts good now. for almost a month i tried using this technique without any over cranking problem. ....("this way you press push start 3 times" means press once...wait press another time..wait.. engage the brake pedal then press again to start.")

i use my car usually just go work and go home. through and flow around 60km. after rain or during cold chilly morning i also did try start my car. no OWV and no over cranking problem. Yet.... hope it will not occur. So cold start not a problem anymore. is a bit tedious and lots of steps....but just for cold start.

after the first start. the remaining of on off stays the same way.
insert key fob. press brake pedal then press push start.

As a matter of interest, the car's manual suggest that the trigger level for light sensor can be adjusted at the SC.

This might be ideal for the first start of the day. The next start can just insert fob, press pedal and push start. I would say this is a workaround.

However in the first place, user should be able to use the quickest start method without any over cranking problem. If need 3 times to push, that defeat the purpose of having push start button.

actually push start button itself for this car already need additional step...

usually key fob in the pocket...when get in car just press start button.. (2 steps) correct me if i am wrong for forte cars or any other push start button like ford and toyota prius c/prius

for us..we need to insert key fob....then press brake pedal... then only press push start. our case( 3 steps)

my old manual car daihatsu charade just need to insert key and then twist to crank engine...so no need to get inside car and press brake...
(2 steps)
