Hi,
My loan has just approved last week. Can't wait to get the car but still have to wait. No chassis no yet...
On the other hand, has anyone try sound proofing to numb out the CVT whining noise? and possible to share the experience?

QUOTE(Dickong @ Jul 2 2012, 11:40 AM) It's the disc rotor uneven, just go and claim the rotor. I have this before n immediately send for claim n even the sa know it immediately when he test it. If you get wobbling while either hard or light braking at certain speed (around 80 to 120).. it can be brake pad issue or the front brake disks. Usually, it will go away by changing the brake pad or the front brake disk require skimming or replacement.

QUOTE(Dickong @ Jul 2 2012, 05:12 PM) Brake pad wont give u vibrating problem except the disc rotor, n there is no such thing as BRAKE DISK. Actually it's brake disc in layman term, but it's call disc rotor. Hahaha got it.

Just received the car last Friday that was booked on 28/5/2012.
thebugbud | E Brown | CFE CVT (6/7/2012) | CN: 82**
So far noticed a few problems.
1. Minor rattling on Dashboard. 2. Minor rattling on drivers door panel. 3. A pillar wind noise at 120km/h 4. Hard acceleration is rough and heavy vibration.
Everything else is great.

QUOTE(BartS @ Jul 9 2012, 09:54 PM) Rather than ask, I think it may be better if you get a friend to take a ride with you and he/she can be tasked with listening to where it comes from. Had my wife to look around and the wind noise seems to come from the sun visor area and it's quite pronounce though especially running at 115k/h and above..

QUOTE(BartS @ Jul 9 2012, 10:01 PM) One good way to test is to get some tape and temporarily apply it to the suspected area. If that stops the wind noise, you have found the spot. On next service, point that out to the service personnel & demand that it be rectified. Thanks for the suggestion. Will try it out this weekend. QUOTE(my1508 @ Jul 9 2012, 10:05 PM) i have this problem also. the culprit is air-cond air circulation. u might want to off air circulation. my case no DIY solution. need to ask SC. Have not tried on this. Will do that when I'm getting to speed it up this weekend. Thanks
