Guys I just took a video of My Preve cranking sound. Please tune your volume higher as the video sound is quite soft...Please notice the RPM meter and the Engine cranking sound too. Would this be considerate as OVW problem?

*
That's weird. Tachometer speed dropped from 800 to 400 rpm when it occurred. Not sure what it is. If I have to venture a guess, I would say overcrank. Best send it to SC asap.

Btw, how did you anticipate it would happen? Does it happen all the time for you? According to bro Mat, if it happens regularly throughout different times of the day, it should be OVW.

nxt time you post a question. its better to put it in point form...

anyway,

no ecu remap. oni got ecu reset. new map rumored to be out in september. generally alot of members experience after the 1st service the car is much better by itself.

COSE stands for Center of Service Excellence. Its a service center name in shah alam. generally accepted as the best...

go do balancing.

when u press hard on the pedal.

Unsubstantiated rumors are best taken with a large pinch of salt. Talk is cheap. One guys says this. Another guy may say the opposite .. workers are so happy with DRB. So happy working there they are singing songs like ...

For me, I would say Yes BUT maybe not now, wait for the new batch which the current issur is solved like the Wind Noise, OVW and others. OR you can maybe wait for the SE variant to release which I think by then most of the problem are solved. Preve is a car which is really value for money. For 73k , u get such specs..U can't even find it in a almost 85k+- Vios. It's a great car. If i were given a choice again, I would still go for Preve. However, if you wish to have a non-local car. I would say Kia Forte is the best bang for buck...85k with all the features packed inside

To provoke an answer from the genuine owners, you should rephrase your question to ..

Question - In light of the known issues/troubles highlighted in this thread, if given a chance to go back to the day where you made your initial booking, would you change your mind and purchase a different car?

My answer would be ..
