Oh hi, just found you guys! One Fern Laner here.

Have not collected my keys yet but went to visit the house on sunday. All doors/windows were locked, so cannot curi masuk into own house.

But met up with a neighbour that was there who have collected his keys. So managed to go into his corner house! yay! (i think it was the same corner house someone here "curi" masuk?)

Anyway...was there for 1 min and then the flow of contractors and agents started. It was annoying especially when you are trying to have a talk with your new neighbour.

Honestly, not sure if want to move in or not. Mainly hesitant because security. So im all in for any proposal for GnG/ A patrol per lane. I really love the FL design but since i have the option to move into TTDI Jaya which is gated and guarded now but IMHO ugly design, im very very torn. Do not want to wait 2-3 years before sleeping peacefully at night/ or day.

Maybe you are right on the completion of Phase 2 before Phase 1. I was there again, yesterday. Houses in Phase 2 looks very much complete - door bell switches all installed, no jutting out wires, etc. Saw a couple of cars in Phase 2 looking at their respective units.

For Phase 1, the door bell switches is still to be installed [maybe Phase 1 does not come with the switches?] and there are still wires jutting out from sockets at the porch. I am still clueless why Phase 2 comes pre-installed with an alarm system. I still remember the Sales Advisor not telling me on this plus there is not such indication in the brochure.

I bought an Aster Grove II Intermediate Double Storey Linked terrace after falling in love with the landscape and general feel of the neighbourhood. But then due to circumstances, I'm putting my unit up for sale even though its only due for completion in May 2014. Sad though, seems from this thread got quite a few decent residents living there and the place will eventually come up nicely.

Going to inspect my house tomorrow! Will be bringing personal QS and contractor. lets see what they say.

My bank has yet to disburse the final payment, so I guess DA won't let me sign the VP yet huh?

Do give us an update on the 'Points' & 'Areas' to be wary off whilst doing the inspection...

Please share with us on build quality and the defect liability claiming process - how fast will SD rectify the complaints...

For Fern lane II, a 2sty with land size > 2200sqf cost abt RM778K onwards...

I'm not sure if this applies to Fern I too...

I also quite surprise when I saw the alarm. They didnt mention anything about it. If I'm not mistaken it's paragon brand..
When I went to my house last week, the contractor said they need to repaint some section of the house as the color scheme a bit run..
The house have also been inspected and i can see the fluoroscent sticker on a few of the defects that they notice
