the link you gave me is different, that is to fix disk that already has ML installed.
the one youre looking at is internet recovery, which is used to install ML on a disk without OS

If your Mac problem is a little less common — your hard drive has failed or you’ve installed a hard drive without OS X, for example — Internet Recovery takes over automatically. It downloads and starts OS X Recovery directly from Apple servers over a broadband Internet connection. And your Mac has access to the same OS X Recovery features online. Internet Recovery is built into every new Mac.

Is the Ghosting / Image retention problems on the Retina Display MBP for real?

I read many users complaint about it in overseas forums but not many users in Lowyat Forum talk about it?

Holy smokes! Did this app just get released?

It's a real life-saver for MS Office! No more using the frustrating hack that needs to minimize-and-maximize every time a new file is opened.

Thanks again BRY7 for your awesome find! thumbup.gif

Some people said it only affects LG displays, and Samsung displays may suffer other problems such colour tints, uneven brightness, colours too cold / bluish, etc.

Worst of all, some mentioned that image-retention may develop over time, means the longer you use your display, the higher chance you are to get it.

Just saying. Anyhow, with warranty, no need to worry so much. Apple should cover this under warranty unless of course you are bought your rMBP from local retailers, then perhaps they might say it's performing 'as it should'. laugh.gif

it's for real. but then again there are also retards on macrumors that purposely place their units under extreme conditioning just to have said phenomenon occur.

We actually did a survey and count pc and mac users in my class too. Out of 48 students, 4 are rmbp, 3 mba 13", 7 mbp 15", 8 mbp 17", 6 mbp 13", 10 alienwares, 4 asus G series, 4 dell portable workstation, 2 HP.
The mac users always laugh at those bulky ones, "wow whats in your bag? Bricks ah? " xD
