i bought my 1st mac 5 yrs ago from the lowyat reseller, cant rmb the name.
now i want to get a new mbp for mountain lion (they don't let me upgrade on my current machine)
coz i rmb i read some of the forumer post his usb slot is burned up and he have to replaced with price of 5k

lol...i worried if i found have defect, the reseller side need to wait for verification, contact with apple HQ, drag here drag there and takes 1/2 months ... sweat.gif

if you find defects before you leave the store, they will replace it on the spot.
if you've left the store and later noticed defect, this depends on the reseller if they want to replace it or claim warranty.
if you purchase from Apple Online Store, theres a 14 Days exchange policy.
regarding the usb slot burnt reported by the forumer, it has nothing to do with reseller.
its actually the service provider that caused the problem, and also that unit has already exceeded the exchange period so it has to be send it for warranty claim

Just got my mac last thursday. Love it but still not so familiar with it. Normal browsing, downloading and gestures are fine, but the rest ain't that familiar. All in all I am enjoying it biggrin.gif

Added on September 11, 2012, 2:03 pmjust found out that mac book pro dont include a mountain lion cd, so how u guys reinstall the os when u wanna replace the HDD urself??

You can always make a Mountain Lion USB drive for restore.

yes, but i believe yours will be preinstalled with ML.
if it comes preinstalled, you can't redeem from MAS

becoz i plan to upgrade the hdd my self, does this mean there's no way for me to reinstall a new hdd by my self?
