I think in 38 and 36MP mode, you couldn't zoom anymore because there is no extra pixel counts to perform lossless zoom at all D:

if i'm not mistaken, Damian Dinning mentioned this previously, and also, we can't use front facing camera in the camera apps,my guess is.. the FFC unable to support the comprehensive camera settings of pureview (especially 38/36MP mode)

QUOTE(feimeng @ Jun 20 2012, 10:15 PM)
zooming only available under PureView mode
no zoom for full resolution as 808 already abandoned the use of interpolation style of digital zoom
*
no idea lol
btw didn't zoom and capture the photo already superb

Noise is there, even at ISO100 is shoot at full res, the dark areas noise is noticeable; but nothing much can be expected from a camera phone or compact.
I just hope we can have more control like Shutter Priority mode, more information on the display (e.g. current shutter speed, ISO, etc) and also information when viewing the photo (e.g. shutter speed used, ISO, etc).

Anyway, thanks to the large aperture and ability to maintain the aperture even when using maximum zoom, it's helpful and makes a difference. Due to the high MP, it's seems very sensitive to slight shake even the shutter speed is fast, but when using PureView mode with maximum zoom, it's less steady yet, it seems much easier to get sharp photos.

As for the output, haven't try any Full HD, but last time with N8, no issues with 720p.

I use Nimbuzz for gtalk, ym, etc in addition to whatsapp. For saving battery I sue an app called Battery Power Saving.
