Anyway to remove the yellow?

Lucky you bought the case, but 808 currently no case.

I think black should be better in this case, since we use it for photography, tend to expose to various things.

I prefer get those higher mAh and with at least 1000mAh output; Most of the portable charger is 500ma, which is very slow, but useful as a backup/emergency.

The white seems not ceramic? You tough the black and white totally different feel. White feels smooth and nice, but the black feels like... well, ceramic, and it's rough.

But the white doesn't feel like ceramic. It's smooth; Most display units are white and you can feel the smooth finish, then when you touch the black.... It's really... fells like CERAMIC.

Erm... N900 also matte finish and it's black, but it's smooth. Same goes for N9, Lumia 800, Lumia 900, they're all matte finish and they're smooth.

The white feels good and smooth.

The black... well, feels like Ceramic; Not sure why the White doesn't feel so. The black you can feel rougher surface with "sandy" kind of feel; Not sure, maybe because the black is new?

Or to put it simple, no focusing is needed (as most range is in acceptable focus).

For video, there's CAF and Hyperfocal.
CAF = Continuous AutoFocus; So the camera will keep try to focus. It can be distracting or annoying when it focus on the wrong thing.

One of the Nokia Store (I think The Curve), all their units are booked.

According to Nokia Rep, they don't plan to bring in Red. Only Black and White and will be limited units. They will be concentrating on Lumia.

Avaxx did mention they're trying to bring in Red. Not sure if there is demand, will they be able to bring it in. If not, I think maybe AP set will have?

According to Thomas, there will not be an official launch for 808.

We asked a lot of 808 questions that day, but they're not really keen about it. It's all about Lumia, it's their BREAD and BUTTER now.

I think a very effective way is for the Nokia dealers to voice out. I'm not sure how well is Lumia sales doing here, but I suspect it's not doing well. It may do well at first when it's marketing the product and many people didn't know about the limitations and restrictions or some thought they can accept it. But many people may start to feel the limitations and restrictions getting on their nerves and cannot bear with it, thus, you see quite a number of people selling off their Lumias; Plus there's the tempting One X and S3, and when they sit down with their friends to compare, it's not about "smoking" who; Simply put, if someone challenge Windows Phone to send file to another phone, it'll be an embarassing moment. Smoothness and fluidity is not everything, it can be done on other phones anyway, but the limitations and what it cannot do is the issue, there's no cool weather widgets, there's no cool homescreen with wallpaper, etc...
Sooner or later, more and more people will know about the limitations and restrictions of Windows Phone and with Internet and Facebook, the news will just spread around about the issue with WP....

Anyway, back to the point, if the sales are indeed not doing well, the dealers are the best to feedback to Nokia. I believe this way, it'll give a more attention from the higher ups on the importance of relying solely on Windows Phone.
Using Windows Phone is not an issue, but why not go multi-platform? Basically, I would say MS failed on Samseng, HTC, LG; it clearly shows that Android sells better and they're concentrating on Androids... They have no choice to force Nokia to only use Windows Phone, at the same time force Nokia to kill Symbian and MeeGo.

Appears better as in? Most of the time, it's more on how the in-camera processing is done. Samseng or other brand tends to apply more contrast and vibrance or saturated colors, gives more oomph.
N8 is more towards natural skin tone, if you apply more contrast, the skin tone will become unnatural and dark. It really depends what you're shooting and what you want. If you're shooting cars or objects, the contrast makes it more oomph, but sometimes, if you're a pixel peeper, you may not like to view it in larger size because viewing in small size it may look good, but when you view it larger, you will prefer to tone down.

It really depends on the in-camera processing as it's manufacturer preset version of post processing (PP); For those who don't like the output, will do further own post-processing to fix or enhance what they feel is lacking. If there is RAW, then even better, apply your own processing from fresh.

Yup, Nokia already mentioned, they applied very minimal or minor processing, even minor sharpening. High end camera (or Pro SLR) usually the default settings is also minimal processing, to allow more room for the photographer to process to their preference (if they lazy to process from RAW).
Actually there should have option for you to customize the preset to enhance the contrast, saturation, sharpening, etc. But the problem is, not all situation you want to apply the same settings, shooting portrait, you would want more natural skin tones, while shooting cars, you might want to pump on the contrast, etc.

Bigger sensor + a good lens is important.
But not everyone look into the details, seems many people look at the picture with nice contrast and color is good enough (without looking into the details).
