1st=very high heat while running high graphic games like bf3 ...runs 8xC for processor...7x to 8xC for GPU

2nd=sometimes i lost its sound dunno why...had to restart to make my speaker function again

3rd=yesterday was fine =.=.....today i can boot it already...5 light status...only showing the most left one...screen is on but nothing came out when u press on botton

4rd=likely to hang my pc if doing multiple things...

N56vz blueray one i7...

bought only 1 month and 1 weeks problem came out so much

btw i'm not a rude user which always kenak virus T^T....always clean laptop..scan pc

just...i always on the laptop for long days like 10am on till another day 6pm...rest time only 6am to 9am..

daily maintain temperature to avoid too hot..

maintain at 5x C

Its kinda normal if you're not in aircond room and without cooling pad.

For my case, it shows big difference between gaming with cooler and gaming without cooler.
For Dota2, without cooler, it will laggy and temperature high like 8x celsius.
But for having cooler , it becomes smooth while the temperature is also high 8x celsius.

u just bought this laptop... i5 edition.. but when i play game.. the Nvidia NEVER kick in 1... even in Windos experience index... did try with latest driver still same... damn sien google also no solution... haiz... thinking to downgrade to win7 but scared windows 8 cant install back cuz no lisence key..

Anyone flashed the new BIOS 216 (something says update for Nvidia)?
Mine actually gets lagger and bootup longer. fps in game dropped like hell as well. Should I re-flash the older version?

Edit : I realized It's my Nvidia did not kick in during games. Any solution for this? I updated the latest drivers. Changed the global settings to 650m. I refreshed my Windows Experience Index and it shows Intel Graphic HD4000 instead of 650m. Help I can't play games now. It sucks.

Yes I flashed my bios as well to the latest version which is 216, I didn't faced any troubles i just noticed that the processor and ram rating in windows experience index have dropped by 0.1.

Right click on the game exe or screen shortcut then run with graphics processor and select nvidia, some old games are not compatible with nvidia graphic card, if you check the fps using nvidia and intel graphic cards it will show you the same fps in both. And for windows experience index go to nvidia control panel and change auto select into nvidia, apply changes and then refresh the windows experience index.

Nvidia graphic card is not selected by default, thus before you refresh the Microsoft experience index, right click on the screen and go to nvidia control panel and change auto select into nvidia graphic card GeForce GT 650M then apply changes and refresh the windows experience index. After you finish refreshing the index go back to nvidia control panel and choose auto select as default.

hi guys, I just got my N56VZ weeks ago... i'm having a problem that my asus icon missing from my desktop after i dragged those unused asus shortcut into a new folder. Then only i found out the icon missing from the folder Is there any way to retrieve it?
