why, anything happened with W8?

lol why? I wanted to do a dual boot to Windows 8 though

easiest method is to clean install your windows 7 using the key at the back cover of your laptop.
But then another problem arises, because I think you can't clean install windows on our lappies unless you have to do something with the HDD, kinda tedious job.

I've try to boot from the blueray, external dvd room, cant work.. i even put an empty hdd in my lappy, and put a hdd with win7 OS in it, also cannot go into windows.. i hate win8.. i cant work with win8..

Give it some time LOL.
Or maybe you can try plug in your printer to the USB port located at your router.
Then use shareport and print via wireless. (assuming you're using D-LINK).

LOL if you keen with windows 7, press esc key when the laptop loads "Asus" word then choose your dvd drive.\,
in case you don't know how to boot the dvd drive...

compatible issues will be solved one day, but in my case it is automatically compatible in my desktop
crash is a big deal though, wondering what's the crash?

Did you disable SecureBoot inside the BIOS ?

How do u guys settle with the stickers at palm rest there?

I'm wondering why every time I boot up my N56, open an app such as iTunes. My DVD-drive will be making a click noise like trying to detect whether there is a disc inside or not. And the mouse cursor shows it is running the disc. But my dvd-drive is empty all the time.

Disable the ODD from device manager if you rarely use it?

I couldn't disable it. LOL

Not under Disk drive, thats the HDD.
Check the one under DVD/CD-ROM drives.

mine one is still ok but Windows 7 sticker is starting to tear itself off at the bottom edge
feels like using the transparent laptop skin or a screen protector to cover it LOL

Anyone know where to get external fans for CM U2? Mine started to giving out buzzing sounds.

Btw, my mini subwoofer also started to giving out buzzing sounds as well when there's no music or movie playing, I can hear there's constant buzzing sound. It works fine during music and movie playback though. Its just kinda annoying when there's nothing to play and you hear the buzzing sound from the subwoofer. Anyone experiencing this? Should I send in for warranty? Fyi, I usually keep my volume below 50. Bass at 40, treble at 50.

Been use the laptop since yesterday evening untill mid night, quite impressed by the build-quality still.. So far only having 1 small problem, the wifi suddenly cant detect, then cant switch on back. But once I restart, it works fine until this morning. Duno is the Thunder software download way too furious at its speed or the stupid windows updates for Win8 Kinda force me to restart it..

Hopefully wont got any problems anymore! Haven't got the chance try it out on gaming, need wait me bring some games out and install it then only can try.

Yup, I did try. In Singapore this is the so called "latest" model, is really didnt come with the backlit keyboard. I even get the seller and myself check with ASUS Singapore for this. 1 of the cut cost move, ishhhh..
