I wanted to change my N56 to SSD and I need to reformat it. Asus didn't provide the Window 8 serial number and those apps like powerdirector and other apps that come with it. I do not have the installation disc as well so I have to download it myself. Any way to solve it?

QUOTE(singeryoon @ Nov 17 2012, 09:21 PM) to get your windows 8 serial number you have to register yourself at http://www.windowsupgradeoffer.com/ with your laptop purchase information Don't really need those apps. Just asking only. BTW thanks ya.all those apps i think you have to find them at their own website. I'm wondering do you really use those apps? for drivers you can find them at Asus website with latest updates though |

Any suggestion of cooling pad for my N56 baby? Budget will be around 60-70. Thinking whether want to choose those with smaller fan but removable or bigger fan but with fixed spot.

I'm wondering why every time I boot up my N56, open an app such as iTunes. My DVD-drive will be making a click noise like trying to detect whether there is a disc inside or not. And the mouse cursor shows it is running the disc. But my dvd-drive is empty all the time.

Have you guys tried to connect the HDMI from N56 to LCD TV? My Media Player Classic becomes not responding when I connect to my LCD TV through HDMI.

I think got electric shock mostly is due to the material. Its aluminium. Maybe try to plug in the ac adapter nicely will do. I had this problem with MacBook before also because I didn't plug in the adapter nicely.

QUOTE(Bendan520 @ Dec 23 2012, 10:35 AM) Wah looks like this lappy a lot of malfunction one. I wanna try to avoid the after sales service but it seems I can't find any laptop that I like compare to n56vz Sometimes you buy electronic device is depend on your luck also. Some can serve you for very long time, some will fail you very fast. |

QUOTE(carrisima82 @ Dec 24 2012, 01:41 AM) I fell uncomfortable with my N56VZ touch-pad because on the right side it look lift up and on the left side look sink down..and on the top middle also lift up..for the right click it need to push harder, not like for left click.. Yeah it happens to us. Why not use the Asus Smart Gesture? You don't have to click it.Did anyone know if I can complaint about this to ASUS Center? Are they will consider about this problem or they just say it just a minor problem? For me, it's not worth to pay RM3599 for the 'unfinished work'.. |
