Hi, yesterday was a happy day, finally my new laptop arrived. Asus N56VZ. First impression is good, very good.
Its just that i dont know how to use Windows 8, but im learning:)! Laptop is running very smooth. I have i7-3630QM version with BluRay, 8gb memory.... Right now i have slow slow 750GB HDD, but my seller will replace it for 720gb 7200rpm HDD for free. So, i made it so far, that i uninstalled some Asus pre-installed stuff. Can i uninstall something else? My program list: » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « I think i will keep Cyberlink programs, but maybe i dont need those "ASUS" stuff?! |

Anybody have any idea why the i7 is so hard to find everywhere and out of stock in many places? Went to lowyat and apparently most places have no idea when they will restock and some even say not restocking the i7 one.
Is Asus launching one thats even better than the i7 N56vz? |

I bought it from Computech, Estonia:)! http://www.computech.ee/
Its funny, becouse Computech's Homepage shows that my laptop has i7-3610qm, but when it arrived from warehouse, then they discovered that its i7-3630QM. They said that my laptop is the last one in warehouse. Maybe im lucky. Right now im thinking what to do with my HDD, its slow, 720gb 5400... They said that they will change it for 720 7200rpm, but cloning HDD has failed twice, they will keep trying, but it takes time and i have to give my computer away... Maybe i will think about SSD, Crucial SSD M4 256GB, right now is on sale 159€, maybe i can get some euros off the price to. This post has been edited by alvu12: Mar 4 2013, 08:43 PM |

Can someone please tell me where to get the N56VZ i7 model? Like rachy said, it's almost impossible to find. I've checked with a few shops in Low Yat as well and they all dont have it. But i really like the design, the white backlit keys, matte screen and full hd and half decent specs, since i don't really game that much. Any idea where to get it?
Thanks |

Seri Kembanganif u dont mind the weight i suggest u grab the G55 series around RM3.88k-RM4.4k (depending the model, RM4.4k comes with 3D bundle) since it comes with excellent cooling solution and comes with better GPU - GTX660M if u dont like heavy notebook, yes N56VZ is good for u.
