I use Skype very often in stock ROM. The stock ROM just doesn't heat up in these normal operations.

I don't OC my phone, I don't play games. The AOKP just heats up the phone more, especially with Franco kernel. The original b38 kernel is at least acceptable.

Now I have to undervolt the device to make it on par to stock ROM. smile.gif

i think it got to do with kernel rather than rom
franco is easier to heat up
im with morfic's kernel and it does not heat up often...unless gaming or 3g signal is weak

Waze for turn by turn of course.

Recently got the Xenon HD rom.. battery seems better than previous SlimICS install. However some stuttering is noticeable when I have a lot of apps running compared to Slim. Lack of customization is apparent as well.

Android needs to get FLASHED to Custom ROM in order to gain:
a.) Better performance(overall).
b.) Better battery life.
c.) More customization! icon_rolleyes.gif
d.) OC/UV! Push performance even further!

It's NOT like JAILBREAK which only have a SINGLE FUNCTION(which changed the App Store stuffs to be FREE to download) only.

Flashlight or Lightflow(as suggested). You can grab these apps in Google Play Store.

I don't get what you mean by ICS(Ice Cream Sandwich)... Because Custom ROMs are all ICS too. It's just a better coded/optimized ICS compared to the STOCK ICS. brows.gif
Don't get me wrong, I am not forcing you to flash Custom ROM(like CM9, BEST!!). icon_rolleyes.gif
It's your choice.

Try TeslaLED instead,it has a widget that you can put on the homescreen that activates the LED as torchlight immediately

Sorry, must have missed it previously, but which ROM can hide or make the buttons invisible?
