CM9 is so far the BEST, IMO. It's comparable to that of AOKP.
It lacks of some customization too, but, not a lot which means it is still very customizable(especially compared to Rascream).
AOKP have more bugs and slower... that's the exchange equilibrium. 

those switching from cm9 to aokp, can u try backing up dsp manager and restoring in aokp?
