when we can have more possession and make good use of it, thus giving them less defensive works.
but we'll see how hard the team gonna be pressing w/o the ball since BR stated hard work is an obligation for him, not a choice. tongue.gif

BR also share the same birth date with Mourinho.
So when are you gonna move into football managing field? biggrin.gif

as someone has already posted.

so yea, look beyond the actual stats, and see all the chances they created.
then decide who to blame again, adam and also downing for not having any assists, or the toothless attack for not being able to convert them? as well as hitting the woodwork everywhere? and which in LFC history IIRC ranks this team as the 3rd lowest ever scoring since formation in 1892.

I believe Joe Cole will benefit under the management of BR. Hopefully we can get Aquilani here too to make the best from his tactics.

Thursday’s LFC Transfer Rumours: Sigurdsson latest and £16m Johnson swoop
By This Is Anfield On June 7, 2012 · 81 Comments · In LFC News

Liverpool could be set to swoop for Icelandic midfielder Gylfi Sigurdsson after negotiations over his proposed £6.8million move to Swansea City broke down.

New Reds boss Brendan Rodgers was set to sign Sigurdsson after an impressive loan spell at the Liberty Stadium, but the deal is set to have been put on hold following Rodgers’ move to Liverpool.

Now Rodgers is keen to steal the highly-rated 22-year-old from under the noses of his former club, and Sigurðsson himself has now opened the door to a move to Anfield.

“It’s just unclear at this moment where I will play,” he told mbl.is in his homeland.

“I expect not to stay at Swansea because of the uncertainty going on there as it is not clear who is boss.

“I have said that my desire to continue playing in the Premier League and Liverpool is completely considered.

“Liverpool is a big club that has a glorious history.

“English Premier League is the platform that I want to be and hopefully is that I continue to play in that division.”

He added, “I got in touch with Brendan when he was appointed Liverpool manager.
“I wish him congratulations and thanked him for a great time at Swansea.”

Meanwhile, the Reds have been linked once again with Manchester City winger Adam Johnson and a £16million bid could be on the cards, according to Caught Offside.

Johnson has struggled to claim a Man City first team place as their squad has been built with the cream of European footballing talent.

But Rodgers may see him as a great replacement for Dirk Kuyt, who left for Turkish club Fenerbahce earlier this week after six years at the club.
