Liverpool got e Echo Arena, Liverpool One and Liverpool Waterfront..all of them a great place for me..especially during summer..fake beach at Liverpool One.. thumbup.gif and Lobster Pot Liverpool..I know..this is just a small restaurant..fast food restaurant..but good food Hahahaha icon_idea.gif

hmm so there will be no DoF for Liverpool?? if no then the transfer will be control by BR..I think he will go with potential rather than star signing..

miss out this word 'probably' biggrin.gif

Arsenal is in city of bright lights, incredible social escapade for young minds seeking the comforts after a game or training's. so in that sense, it's probably a notch ahead of us (and a place like the city of newcastle, etc).

you been there, you know (not that i have lived there but from friends). But i'm sure it probably boils down to individuality of the person. but if an offer(s) comes, (pay aside), chances are social comforts will become a forefront in consideration. I'm not saying city of liverpool is a prison/dull devoid of color, in fact it's an olde city, incredible amount of historical buildings etc. The allure is different.

Cole set for Anfield return
5th Jun 2012 - Latest News

Lille boss Rudi Garcia today wished Joe Cole well for the future after revealing he expects the Liverpool midfielder to return to the club this summer.

Cole has spent this season on loan with the 2010-11 league champions, with whom he made 42 appearances and helped finish in the top three of the table.

"Joe Cole will stay at Liverpool," said Garcia.

"The new (Lfc) staff have decided to keep him. We will remember him very fondly as a player but also as a man."

"I know there are three types of supporters at every club," he added.

"Number one is those who, no matter who the manager is, they love their club and they will love their manager whoever it is because Liverpool is their life and their passion and they love their club.

"The second group is supporters who will accept you but to earn their real respect you will have to be successful. That's fine.

"The third group are the critics and you never change them ever. If you win four nil it should have been five. If you win the league it should have been three.

"I will never worry about that group because you can never affect them. If you do a good job you are proving them wrong but they can't be proved wrong so they will kill you even more.

"I only want to work with the people who love the club. I have always had good relations with the media and with the supporters.

- Brendan Rodgers -

Which type of supporter are you?

YNWA.

i'm pretty sure we, or most of us fall in the category of 1 & 2. After all the bickering, debate, some unwarranted name calling blink.gif amongst the forumers here, we are still here. tongue.gif

i dont think we've been successful in recent times or as in the past decade or two to be associated with number 3 type of fans (god forbid!!) unlike a certain other club which the whole world knows about biggrin.gif

Gylfi Sigurdsson has told Icelandic newspaper Morgunblaðið that he does not expect to stay at Swansea City next season.

The 22 year-old midfielder says he would have liked to continue his career at the Liberty Stadium as he enjoyed it, but admits he's unsure where his future lies due to Brendan Rodgers' move to Liverpool. He also says a move to Swansea City is unlikely now due to him not knowing who the manager will be, as they still seek a replacement for the Irishman.

Sigurdsson said:

''It's just unclear at this moment where I come to a play. I'd like to play on with Swansea since I was really happy there, but after Brendan Rodgers left the club for Liverpool changed the situation for it,''

He also says he'd consider a move to Liverpool but he hasn't talked to Rodgers about a move to Anfield.

''I have said that my desire to continue playing in the Premier League and Liverpool is completely considered. Liverpool is a big club that has a glorious history. English Premier League is the platform that I want to be and hopefully is that I continue to play in that division.

I expect not to stay at Swansea as the uncertainty going on there and not clear who is boss,''

In response to a question asking if he had talks with Rodgers about joining him at Liverpool, Sigurdsson added:

''No, but I got in touch with him when he was appointed Liverpool manager. I wish him congratulations and thanked him for a great time at Swansea,''.

After watching Gylfi Sigurdsson, i am reminded of Steviie

Except for tackling, he .....shoots from distance....foraging runs to box......scores from freekicks
They look the same build as well

Chelsea's signings controlled by DoF whilst DoF controlled by Abramovich. So I guess its not one-man lol. Just hope your impending manager won't discard them like Mourinho did with Shevchenko.

Added on June 6, 2012, 1:13 pmSchurle is rated very highly, definitely 20-30 mil pounds

why sell spearing? you can't get much of value with his transfer fee, and his salary is probably peanuts compared to the rest.
