QUOTE(Emirates @ Jun 12 2012, 02:15 PM) Shites ! i was afraid it might me something like that. Will send to SC asap. Thanks very much daresĀ Don't panic. It can mean alot of things, such as belt slip due to sudden acceleration by the driver among other reasons. It is to indicate abnormal conditions and the ECU/TCU will attempt to invoke safe mode to protect the transmission. In fact the error code will be erased if the error does not recur over a period of time or a number of engine starts, as it assumes that it is a one time error, so there is no reason to be overly concerned as long as it doesn't happen again soon. But again, to be safe, send it to the SC to have the error code read at your soonest possible. This post has been edited by dares: Jun 12 2012, 02:22 PM |

QUOTE(Emirates @ Jun 12 2012, 02:21 PM) i can make it light up as many time i want actually i know the trick of this light, did you play around with SAT button lately? try push the button to S mode, then again push back to D mode... the light should have gone the idea is, the light blink because the SAT switch problem, when it got stuck from S mode to D mode (the button you push didn't punch out fully) then the light will blink.. to all FLX user, try to push that button to S mode, then again push back to D mode but holding it half way, (don't let the button completely punch out, then the light will blink) conclusion : SAT button FAILED This post has been edited by gogoman86: Jun 12 2012, 02:30 PM |

QUOTE(gogoman86 @ Jun 12 2012, 02:42 PM) solution for : 1. I rarely encounter this, and usually it only happens after a short spirited drive. 1) engine jerk during idle 2) taktak noise during braking 3) jerk during slow cruising 4) gear stiffness from L to D 5) rattling noise came from dashboard so far that's the problem from me Added on June 12, 2012, 2:44 pm it happen to me, CVT warning light up during cruise, and I also didn't touch that SAT button too, sometime is 1st warning given by CVT (everyone facing that too) but then after that, the light never light up anymore 2. Mine is gone 3. the last time my car jerks during slow cruising, is more than 4 months ago... Normally what i do is let the car roll a bit first then gently tap the throttle to 1400~1600 rpm... 4. I think its the design is memang like that one 5. Yeah. but then those are just minor problem (except for the tak tak tak brake). No need for a mass recall kua... |

Torque converters are smoother because they can absorb shock or sudden engine input, which is also why they are less efficient. last time i also use N and D but that will not results in smoothness.. cause of the sudden release of the clutch.. more like manual cars.. even if u suddenly release the accelerator while cruising below 2k rpm also will results in 'jerk'. so currently i choose to hv a good pedal control/gradually press pedal and release. it helps but yes, there's no way it can be eliminated. less braking also helps cause it helps to keep the inertia/momentumJust have to train your right foot and learn to use the handbrake. |

Torque converters are smoother because they can absorb shock or sudden engine input, which is also why they are less efficient. Seems like the computer controlled clutch still can't beat a foot clutch operated by an experienced driver for smoothness. But I don't remember such jerking when I was driving my friend's FLX Just have to train your right foot and learn to use the handbrake. |
