Foaming is cheaper than installing several bars, and might help insulate noise. But it is irreversable, if you don't like the stiffness after foaming, you're stuck with it, unlike bars that can be removed and sold.
*
Is it COMPLETELY irreversible? Can we inject something to make the foam liquid and then flow out of the car?

Quote from one of the Chassis foam suppliers:

QUOTE(IceCube @ Nov 1 2011, 11:11 AM)
You have to cut the chassis and remove it. Its abit hardcore but if you really feels there is a need for removal, then yes you can remove it but involve a major surgery of cutting and welding.

Torque is sure reduce, no alternative unless u change it to smaller compressor.

You only will see headlamp dim slightly and awhile @ idle, because alternator is slow. But once you rev and start moving, no such effect anymore. You can try rev ur engine @ 2k @ idle and observe headlamp during aircon kickin, the headlamp will not dim.

Thats why i said is VS effect is minimum.
*
Yeah, I don't think a VS does much at all as well.

The only reason I got one was because I was planning on getting some ICE into my car and therefore I wanted to protect the electronics. I just hope it worked. lol.

Was it in Eco mode or something? hmm.gif

And you haven't reported on your proper Lagi Best Lagi Power test drive yet brows.gif
I think he meant Standard / Executive.

You know what, all that talk about the strut bar has gotten really interested, and with Newbie's experience, can I have a front one please thumbup.gif
*
Eh, I better disclaimer first.

Please bear in mind that my Saga is a BLM and not an FLX which would have stiffer suspensions and thicker rear anti roll bar. So if you don't get the same results I do, don't blame me yeah. sweat.gif sweat.gif

I imagine the FLX with those upgrades would have less potential for improvement.

QUOTE(dares @ Jun 9 2012, 10:28 PM)
It was either Eco mode or EV mode wor  blink.gif  blink.gif Havent had time to properly test the LBLP yet  tongue.gif

I Eco mode stifles the performance of the car in favor of saving fuel. You should have switched it to another more sportier mode.

wah..talked about torque..

hmm..how to improve torque in our beloved campro high revving?

mine juz switch off air-cond...torque improved... laugh.gif
*
Same here man. It's like my own NOS switch. Turn the dial, automatically extra acceleration edi. laugh.gif

FLX mane ade rear antiroll bar....torsion beam ade satu, same saiz ngan BLM dan FL. but front ARB is thicker lar.

My thinking is, since FLX springs are stiffer than BLM, is it conceivable that the strut towers actually experiences more stress? (the springs compress less, so more load is transferred to the strut tower). However, the thicker front ARB may have reduced the load. Interesting hmm.gif hmm.gif

When the ABS indicator comes on during drive, that means a fault has been detected in your ABS system. Your normal brakes should be fine, though.

Send to the check at the nearest SC ASAP.

Out of all the gauges, fuel level gauge is 1 of the most unpredictable gauge. It's float weight NOT calibrated, some car lighter, some heavier. My case is heavy, tend to give me illusion of petrol saving. When car is travelling, my fuel gauge doesn't go down. My 1st bar normally can last up to 80km before it lesap. After I stop my engine, the float settled then it become 1 bar less.

Some lighter float like dares case, up hill, hilang 1 bar, downhill 1 bar extra, go flat road, back to normal again.

Really can't tell how many km before the alert indicator lite up.

The behaviour would be something like this.

At the last bar, after you drive some distance, the last bar will start to blink and the fuel pump light will light up. At this point, you're supposed to have 10 liters as a sort of reserve, but based on feedback from forummers, it's less than that. The prevailing theory is that the fuel pump can't reach the floor of the fuel tank and therefore cannot reach the last few liters. My personal record for largest single pump would be around RM66+- which is around 35 liters. I dare not go any further and the only reason I went that far was because I was stuck in jam.
