better than online application, that i can get nothing, and still have to pay for the rm50 government charge for first year~

How about the rebate you will get every month? Still not worth the GST fees you paid? Ponder. rolleyes.gif

Just fill RM50 worth petrol using OCBC TMC
Got sms alert from OCBC as shown below:

" RM0.00 OCBC: RM200.00 was charged to your card XXXX at Mobil XXXX on 7.30PM 19 DEC. Pls call the number behind your card for any queries"

I called the bank and tell them I just fill RM50 not RM200.
The CS replied bank will charge merchant RM200 1st then only become RM50 in statement.

Has anyone of you get this sms alert when you fill petrol??

I think you need to Google the forum on how does credit card works when used @ any Petrol Stations. (This is the hint)
Please stop asking others for quick answers whereas this question/scenario has been answered many many times before.

Anyone got the card recently?
I got my card last month and today received the first statement.
I got the RM50 cash rebate but there is no another RM50 waiver for Government Tax.

Is this right? I thought the RM50 waiver should be separated from the cash rebate.

Thanks.

I just got my card few days ago, the agent told me (for my case) I will get GST waive if I swipe my card for 3 times in 45 days.
Then the 1st month statement will charge me GST RM50.
After 3rd or 4th month statement only will waive the RM 50.

Got 5% cash-back on spending at Ootoya and Coldstone Creamery in SG =) Exchange rate was about 2.555 RM per SGD or something like that based on my calculation.

You can set the default value for SMS
*
i would say negative for this. I called CS twice just to set the default value for each transaction performed on my Titanium but both of the operator/call assistance told me there is no way to set such thing but only a defaulted threshold limit of RM500 to receive a SMS for that .. sweat.gif

waiver is to be rebated on your next year's bill if i am not mistaken as per CS told me. Was like doh.gif being charged GST before using it.

But i think it is fine. Think about long term usage on the card it is actually worth the tix

I am not sure if OCBC has changed its system, but there is form that you need to fill up and submit. Try to search for this form at the above mentioned thread, should be there. My default amount is RM1. Just RM500 is ridiculous.

I set my threshold limit to RM1, then when I use my CC, the bank will sms me once the cashier swipe my card. (Include amount I spent)
The form: http://www.ocbccards.com.my/pdf/sms_alert.pdf
