QUOTE(kamechi @ Sep 18 2012, 09:55 PM) hi anyone know about this? From now till 30 September 2012, pay your Celcom, Digi, TM or Maxis phone bills via OCBC Online Banking to earn rebates. Pay online with your current or savings account for 3 consecutive months to receive 5% rebates for the first 2 months and 10% rebates for the third month. If you use your OCBC Titanium MasterCard, you’ll get even bigger savings with 10% rebates for the first 2 months and 15% rebates for the third month. i tried paid my maxis with credit card but only 5% you will get it after the promotion ends....the telco rebate is cap at RM20 with normal rebate of RM50.Total max rebate is RM70.

QUOTE(Pink Spider @ Oct 16 2012, 04:58 PM) got my 1st statement, ALL got 5% cash back cos I only use for petrol, dining and utility bills payment...got RM30++ back. great card I always try to maximize to get RM50 rebate. Sometimes I pay utilities and telco bill in advance to get RM50 rebate because I know somehow or other I can easily use my card for other purchase to get the 1% rebate. Example to pay for my club member fees etc. Another example is assessment rate has 5% rebate and I have to spread out a couple of months to pay before due date. And for that particular month, I stop paying telco bill to make way for assessment rate. Just sharing....

my internet banking default payment account is credit card but whenever I log in and click on bill payment, instead of credit card account, it always appear easy save (saving account). So if I didnt notice and click and pay, it will end up no rebate as it was NOT paid by credit card. Anyone of you have similar problem?

QUOTE(ronnie @ Oct 23 2012, 07:49 AM) It pays to look before you confirm the button.... it's a user problem of not checking. when a person goes to the profile and change the preference on payment to be credit card account, then what should appear when come to "bill payment" should be the credit card account and probably an option of saving account. OCBC has the intention to mislead the customer by making the saving account as the main payment account (even though you have set credit card as payment account) and the option of credit card as secondary account.

QUOTE(LostAndFound @ Oct 30 2012, 02:55 PM) Why la all of you so gilakan post count? Back on topic - I can never max out RM50 rebate liao on my OCBC card... RM100 electric bill, RM84 phone bill, misc. petrol filling (prefer Amex on weekend if possible) RM150, makan a few times in the month RM200... how to reach RM1000? First few months I had delayed some bills a bit so that can benefit from the card, but now month-to-month nvr use finish. Parent utilities bill, phone bill...1% rebate on road tax, club membership...if still cant get 50, which means you spend less and the saving is more than the rm50 rebate

What should I do? all companies accept early or over payment. you just have to take that payment into account when planning for your 50 rebate. QUOTE(sweetpea123 @ Nov 8 2012, 11:30 AM) well, you will never know ... as some places you think should have dont and vice versa , and just info, buying stuff online via MOLPAY entitles you to 5% as well, now what category do you think MOLPAY is in? I have paid my talikom bill through the kiosk in Kedai Talikom and called OCBC and was told it is 5% rebate. Earlier paid through talikom counter and get 5%. But recently Talikom has changed the payment procedure, only can pay through machine.
