i understand what u saying.
for certain things it depends on developer. if developer gatal put a text as picture, then too bad. but my question is why is there so many instances the developer don't allow us to copy text. is quite prevalent in 3rd party apps. for example. in youtube.com for pc the text that people write are all copy-able. but in the youtube app in android, it is not. wtf? where is the quality control here.
for certain things maybe is the OS itself. this one i not sure.
I can only speak from Windows application program point of view as I code programs in Windows environment. There's always a dilemma in finishing a program quick or giving more features to users with the compromise of extra time, probable bugs and other complications.
Anyway, I have no complains so far, just accept it as it is. Even Talk doesn't allow us to copy the text conversation. Press and hold, nothing happens.

There's still way to copy the text using Object Inspector tools in Windows, but it's extra steps and trouble to just get the text. It's quite similar to the Accessibility Read-Aloud function provided in Android, if you know what I mean.

Are you using a grey One X? They both uses the same material - polycarbonate. The glossy look on SIII is due to "hyperglaze" finishing which Samsung claims is
scratch resistant as well
My Oakleys are also PC material with "scratch resistant" finishing.
Just take my advice, don't hold your breath on it.

That's probably the reason HTC goes rubber with the grey One X. Maybe the blue SIII will attract more fingerprints

HOX supporters probably gonna flame me, but the kind of rubbery finish, you get that a lot on Microsoft mice.
after 1/2 year or longer, you'll know what happen la next.

The reason why I never chose the black Tab10.1.
