not a valid argument... since beats can b implement in custom rom
S3 also offer same thing in camera recording n burst... jz that only take up to 20 pics... IMO 99 pic kinda over...
i used my fren's hox... I didnt even bother scroll all... jz choose the best from it  tongue.gif
*
Agree, 20 shots are more than enough if you are only picking 1. Unless you wanna do some stop motion like animation, then 99 shots would be sweet.

It is wireless charging kit , no ?
*
If it's true wireless charging kit, just lay the phone onto the charging pad. The picture included was just the docking for the description below it. laugh.gif

wireless charging is something similar to what Palm Pre had during their initial launching..
*
Yup, and also someone took it to mod their SGS to enable this capability. Sweet!

That goes to show that the NFC antenna is going to be on the battery.

What is Wolfson before SGS? No idea. laugh.gif

Did the Samsung Unpacked emphasized on Wolfson? Didn't pay much attention there.

Not necessary true. Many still think the Note size is still too big for them

similar to what was provided with Galaxy Note. some will like it. some will hate it.

maybe like GNote, first 1000 (or was it 10k) units will come with free case.

good question,

the obvious that needs hardware support
1. charging wirelessly
2. lte
3. nfc related

the rest i say no need. right?
like
smart stay <--- not sure someone please confirm if no hardware support required
smart alert
direct call
social tag
s voice
all share play
buddy photo share
etc.

so technically a sII with custom rom can do all of the above except the above 3 things

This i believe is more on software. As long as your device has a front facing camera, it could possibly be ported. But somehow I believe this feature will drain the battery as you need to activate the front cam for it to work

i'd think the only thing that requires hardware support is:
* NFS (chip on battery)
* wireless charging

the rest should all be software -- theoretically, possible to port to other phones... things like Smart Stay, etc... i'd think its just a software to detect face (specifically the eye).

Maybe the mini video player might need better processor... otherwise, i'd think still possible. it seems more like software enhancement rather than hardware.

Yes, indeed it is a great features. But if not mistaken some apps like browser will allow you to have the screen to stay on as long as you are on the app. Not sure on ebook or ereader
