ermmm...6kg vented midea which i am still using i feel the drum is small, and it has no reverse spin. when i dry my quilt cover, it roll and become a bun "soft and juicy inside, crispy outside" laugh.gif

but if you can get the 7kg vented midea cheap, why not? just go ahead and try. if you have no idea where to buy from, you can do like me, call to midea sales department, ask for the contact see which dealer nearby you (at least 3 shops if you want to compare price, else just go to the nearest 1 and order).

no idea where and how you want to put the dryer, just remember to leave some space for the rear duct hose.

Its the constant humming noise, never appeared until the dryer went bad.

Most of the time the machine is very silent unless when its spinning at 1400rpm producing a jet whirring noise.
*
At which phase does this noise occur? Filling water, wash cycle, drain and spin or drying? Sounds like either a sump pump or the condenser for drying.

There are quite a number of brands selling heat pump dryers, Panasonic, Electrolux, Beko and Bosch, just to name a few.

Personally, my Electrolux 9kg heat pump has been giving me lots of problem, shortly after warranty period ended. Unless you could get 5 yrs or more on warranty, I'd say, avoid Electrolux at all cost.

But then again, 8kg wise, I've only seen Electrolux's.

Good luck in your hunt. Otherwise, heat pump is the way to go, despite higher cost. It's greener compared to other.

if it doesn't "greener" your wallet, it is an expensive pay to the shop (greener their wallet) and do little to the environment.

Always calculate the price you pay compare to per usage/energy to save.

Energy consumption should be about half of condenser type, which is a good improvement, in term of efficiency.

Read and understand the technology behind this 3type.

That is the heater watt. Not how it work to save.

Difference rm1k
Anyone experience with these model? Any good?

My shop give local 3years warranty while LG give 10years inverter warranty

Hi, so far this model is working good for you? How's the drying time needed for normal load, working clothes, not heavy bedsheets etc?

After reading through, seems like Beko not much recommended. I don't like Electrolux. Almost my Electrolux appliances at home broke down soon after warranty. Initially want to get Samsung (my Samsung washer is working great for 5 years already) but currently out of budget.

after you have bought this md-c8800, u will wonder which mode to choose to dry your clothes biggrin.gif

of course normal ppl will firstly choose [cotton standard] mode...but unfortunately you won't get your clothes dry completely...haha

u can try [cotton extra] mode first.

for me, i use [mix] mode and increase [intensity] to [max] level, then hold the [intensity] button for 3 seconds to save as favourite [my cycle] mode.
updated: now i use [Synthetic Extra] + max [Intensity] for normal clothes, and [Cotton Extra] + max [Intensity] for those thick cotton like towel and blanket.

btw...if anyone own the 7kg md-7388, please let me know if this dryer got reverse rotate feature or not. thanks.

Online is cheaper rm400.
But.. buy from local shop got extra 2 years warranty, free microwave grill (which i plan to buy too.. online price rm3++) and same day delivery (at night with installation). Furthermore better support

So online cheaper but local shop more value

for large appliances, if buy from online, ask the seller if they deliver by their own or using courier service like skynet. courier delivery sure higher chance got dent here and there.
