for large appliances, if buy from online, ask the seller if they deliver by their own or using courier service like skynet. courier delivery sure higher chance got dent here and there.

ermmm...6kg vented midea which i am still using i feel the drum is small, and it has no reverse spin. when i dry my quilt cover, it roll and become a bun  "soft and juicy inside, crispy outside" laugh.gif

but if you can get the 7kg vented midea cheap, why not? just go ahead and try. if you have no idea where to buy from, you can do like me, call to midea sales department, ask for the contact see which dealer nearby you (at least 3 shops if you want to compare price, else just go to the nearest 1 and order).

no idea where and how you want to put the dryer, just remember to leave some space for the rear duct hose.

Lol! Called the midea HQ and ask for dealer contact around my area (told them we are looking for 8kg mdc8800 dryer). Turned out all the contacts they gave don't carry dryers, just smaller midea appliances.

Only TBC in my area has midea 7kg.

if insist 8kg then no choice but have to buy online lo.

if 7kg that 1 is vented, you need to plan how to place the vent hose.

In my disappointment, I forgot to ask. Would you recommend the vented or the condenser type?
I am thinking vented, but I will have to make a hole on the rack I put above washing machine area to vent out from the window.

In our weather and level of humidity, by far vented models are more reliable. I've seen too many discarded condenser units at washing machine repair places and it's not very reassuring if getting condenser are a wise choice.

PS: I'm not associated with LG. If and when my Electrolux rosak, I might get this pair.

Hi anyone using this model LG FC1409H3W?
Or the Bosch BOSCH WVG30462SG ?

I saw some review lg machines having problem with lint collection, any comments. I’m considering LG for the truesteam refresh function.

Currently using Electrolux EWW12853 which I find to be quite noisy during spin cycle with some tak3 sound, it’s annoying for an otherwise perfect machine.

not sure how those condenser units become spoilt, but after using few months condenser dryer, i guess is user didn't clean up the condenser radiator and the radiator compartment. the are still lot of lint escape from the lint filter and it might clog up the water pump. while the vented unit, all untrapped lint will go out together with the moist via the vent hose.
