Hold that long means other two points the enemy lost (40 points~), waste of their time trying to gank 1 person (only 10 points per kill), and wasting their cooldowns means the guardian's allies could just swoop in and beat everyone like that. Truly the epitome of guarding lol.

geng! he can just camp at one point and the opposing team will futilely try to kill / cap that point and waste time.


oh btw got one time, i saw 2 red team guys trying to kill chieftain. one was already downed, the other 1/3 life i think. chieftain still got 1/3 health i think.

i pew pew pew the downed one to kill it then i pew pew the remaining one to kill him too.
then i proceed to pew pew chieftain. chieftain rage, whack me.

i take out hammer, earth shaker, back breaker, then bash some more.
yay 50 points for the team.

9/10 players i met kinda use default eq,trait,utility and weapon in pvp,
rarely i see any1 touch their utility skill even 1 on 1 and normally after drop 1 or 2 skills they kinda rely on normal atk or start running blindly

Screw PvP come, WvW and teamwork with TS3

I'll be experimenting with builds again in the next BWE. I've got in mind some stealth heavy builds and others. We'll see what goes on.

I now have a possibility of offloading 6 stacks of vulnerability (-300 defence) on the target from the get go while maintaining stealth for the entire spike. Traded some 50 power for that but its a small tradeoff for such a huge bolster in my defensive and deception capabilities. This means I may lose roughly 500 or so damage on my crits, but it doesn't matter.

1v5 is easy for mesmer. I'm usually surprised if I hold 2 person for a few minutes, then 3 more come, then you know its time to book it and they chase you until they can't. While my team 3 cap the nodes.

Pugs are dumb like that. Tons of time, I can win the game double capping sides while everyone fights in the middle.

Anet replenishes them already.

Do you use staff to escape? When enemies chase you behind, face them then press 2 to clone/blink behind. Then press 3 to clone another, keep running like chased by ghosts. I managed to escape like that 80% of time unless enemy is a pro.
A tip to find which is real mesmer instead of clone/phantasm, it's easy. Just find a guy who is jump here jump there , roll here roll there and use a lot skills, that's the real one

aye, but them clones, do they hurt much? or just annoying? or depend if versus heavy, medium, light armor?

sometimes i downed the real mesmer liao the clones still shooting at me.
