closed till may

im going there on 2may till 4may .

any advice on accomodation as i read thru the whole forum , ive decided reached there only find car . as long less than rm100 per day can edi since i go with my wife only .

they say close until july.

rent car at kuala kedah jetty is much cheaper than online.

Four seasons!! Andaman! The datai!!

lol it gets pushed back further and further

Which beach can play with those small fishes that huddle around your legs .

Please verify whether they are legal or illegal to rent cars.. Support service incase car breakdown..

Pulau Payar..

1) rent car at kuala kedah jetty
2) pay for it
3) arrive at langkawi only to noticed that the car is in bad condition
4) nothing can be done
5) ?????


of course you can say the car you get is in superb condition, but why take the chances that will spoilt your holiday? at least when in langkawi u can demand to see the car 1st before pay

Is that the only beach sir? This one is pretty commercialized. Any other small island ?

a good advice
go to Langkawi by plane and not ferry
ferry will keep shaking and shaking untill u vomit and dizzy even u in first class seat
do not go for the marine park activity under some low price company because the food is terrible and there is nothing to see during snorkeling
go to the paya bakau expedition,.very nice and unique
take cable car to the high hill it is very good experience
remember to travel to ferry jetty 2 hours before the departing times especially during the last ferry cause it will be terrible jam when on the way to jetty road

go to pulau payar try go to those that to the center of the sea one,.better

Sad to realize that skybridge is closed as I'm planning to visit Langkawi on April. Is there a good location where we are still able to snap few photo of the bridge (since it is closed)?

ended up booking at Casa Fina Fine Homes Hotel @ rm158 per night
