why not upgrade to unifi?

anyone know is tm block port 80?
cos i cant access my dvr remotely after tm screw up my line last month..
and i already open port 80 on router...
after i open can ping for few second after that got block again.

Can't be because all your http web site connection will KO also, may be line still unstable, go screw tm again.

Damn it y my cousin WiFi can't connect at all.. ... damn....
even my pong oso kenot connect at all..

i currently facing prob of having Internet slow..my internet is Streamyx 4mbps...back when 5 user(included me) use 4mbps is EXTREMELY FAST till u can finish ur drama episode per day~~
Unfortunately our hse increase 5 ppl to 7ppl...b4 CNY we still accept d internet as bcome normal mood...BUT after CNY..SLOW LIKE HELL...so the question is
1. Does d increase of user can affect the 4mbps speed?
2. When a person sit nearer 2 d modem, he/she will get faster den other?(i noe dis Q sound ridiculous)
3. Is 4mbps enough for 7 ppl user?? or shall i upgrade my internet speed??

1. Sure yes, just one guy with active torrent/streaming & the rest will suffer.
2. If using wifi then yes because got strong & stable signal.
3. Enough if not using torrent & streaming.

i am using streamyx 384kbps speed bandwidth.Last time,if i download using torrent,my speed could reach around 42kb/s but currently it only reaches 2kb/s even though the seed and leech for the particular file is 1000 seeds.Does any people have experience this kind of problem?It seems all the torrent i download the maximum speed is 2kb.Is the TM blocking people who are downloading from torrent?They only state about fair usage policy in their website but 2kb/s is not fair at all.please reply me as soon as possible.

Yes, this is somehow forgotten, P2P throttle on streamyx was enforced since 2008/9.

I got this confusing moment when I want to upgrade my Streamyx to 4MB.

1) Called 100 and confirm my line can take up to 8MB. So I continue to request to upgrade to 4MB.
2) Everything looks good after 2 days. I can see my modem is getting capped to 5114. Speedtest showing great results.
3) But no technician came to my house to check. I see a lot of forum here usually they will come and setup.
4) So I waited and waited, until one day a letter sent to my house saying my line cannot support 4MB. But at that moment I'm still surfing on 4MB.
5) After months I'm surfing with this 4MB and suddenly found out that my Internet is slow and speed test showing only 512.
6) Called 100, and get a ticket logged. Some TM guy call back and say my 4MB rejected and put back to original 512 package. But I say my original package is 1MB not 512. He say can't do anything and need to go TM point personally.
7) Since I won't have time these few days to go TM point, I call 100 again. This time I ask for a upgrade to 4MB once again.
8) He check and say my line can take up tp 8MB. So again I continue to request to upgrade to 4MB.

Not sure how it got rejected since I can use 4MB for months. Maybe this time fail to upgrade again, I will need to go TM point and see how it goes.

Anyone got such an experience? Or any suggestion who can help me?

hi, i have a questions here. so quick question is, is there any Streamyx Self Installation Software at the web? currently my CD was missing and I cant use the internet at all

tmnet people just came to my house and upgrade from 2mbps to 4mbps, how long do i have to wait for the speed to change?

I need help here. I'm using this DSL-2640B (pic) and I can't figure out how to open the port. I'm still stuck with GE_1.07 TM firmware. Any solution? I'm not expert in networking, so I went search Google.com and did not help either. Even PFConfig software also can't ping my router. Traceroute also fail. Help?

Hello everyone, I'm not sure where should I address my problems. my home, at quite kampung state, used 512kbps streamyx (yeah, little bit slow, but when me or my siblings are away, my parents didn't used much of internet, so, 512kbps is plenty), currently, the connection is really slow, but upload speed is okok
recent speedtest using streamyx speedometer,

- Download Speed:24 kbps (3 KB/sec transfer rate)
- Upload Speed:174 kbps (22 KB/sec transfer rate)

(sorry can't upload pic, coz I can't even open my imageshack account)

This problems actually reoccurs 4-5 times per months, sometimes stretch over a week of slow connection. Already called TM, as usual, technical team should come, maybe they'll come tomorrow, but I know this will happen again. no problem in our phone land line.

is it our modem?(using TM's innacom) I once told my father their failure to provide us stable speed can be addressed to SKMM(MCMC) or Tribunal for Consumer Claims Malaysia. because the speed is not at least 3/4 of the promised, we can refuse to pay also

anybody can suggest me what should I try? I already called TM 100 line, they'll send technical support in 24 hours, but I don't actually trust the problem will stop here. last time they send a technical officer to our house to fix is february or march (well, not really fix, dunno how they come, restart modem, ok already)

guys, i recently upgraded my streamyx from 1 mbps to 4 mbps onine. when i check the order status and installation status, it shows RETURNED. what does that mean? it is also written that installation date is today

1) im staying in puncak alam, no unifi coverage..feel bad
2) planning to take streamyx, 4Mbps and sent d form d last month. I called d agent, he said that area only hv 1Mbps, but they plan to pull new cable to cater 4Mbps. Is that the correct procedure?
3) I saw latest ads from streamyx they gv free Hyyptv for 8Mbps installation. How they do that? send video tru phone line? does it affect speed?
