I got this confusing moment when I want to upgrade my Streamyx to 4MB.
1) Called 100 and confirm my line can take up to 8MB. So I continue to request to upgrade to 4MB.
2) Everything looks good after 2 days. I can see my modem is getting capped to 5114. Speedtest showing great results.
3) But no technician came to my house to check. I see a lot of forum here usually they will come and setup.
4) So I waited and waited, until one day a letter sent to my house saying my line cannot support 4MB. But at that moment I'm still surfing on 4MB.
5) After months I'm surfing with this 4MB and suddenly found out that my Internet is slow and speed test showing only 512.
6) Called 100, and get a ticket logged. Some TM guy call back and say my 4MB rejected and put back to original 512 package. But I say my original package is 1MB not 512. He say can't do anything and need to go TM point personally.
7) Since I won't have time these few days to go TM point, I call 100 again. This time I ask for a upgrade to 4MB once again.
8) He check and say my line can take up tp 8MB. So again I continue to request to upgrade to 4MB.
Not sure how it got rejected since I can use 4MB for months. Maybe this time fail to upgrade again, I will need to go TM point and see how it goes.
Anyone got such an experience? Or any suggestion who can help me?
